It's the coolest thing ever. For some reason back in SC2 he always did the one where he jumped up in the air, flailed around and lunged at you. It was tedious early on and mid way through but when the real threats started showing up, it was fun getting part of a big encounter each week. I ignored Parts 4 and 5 for the most part but showed up to catch Kira and Diavolo. 6 has absolutely no aura around it for me and I'm assuming it's because of the release schedule. --- Still waiting on that third threat |

He became absolutely entranced by this thing overnight but all that seems to be going on from an outsider's point of view is that he buys a bunch of games, is pulled through a cutscene heavy story with occasional combat that becomes a non-factor if you grind to buy healing/supercharge items, watches a bunch of side stories that don't seem to change much on replay and then occasionally makes himself wade through some tedious sounding side games. For the sake of trying to hold up my end of a conversation when he gets really excited about one, I watched someone YT. I watched full playthroughs of 7, 0, K1 and K2. I don't feel like I've missed anything by watching them instead of buying them. --- Still waiting on that third threat |

One time someone gifted me it on Steam and I said I'd accept the gift when I was ready to play it and then after a while it auto-refunded. It made me wonder if I was a strange person. I really don't enjoy GTA so this should be easy for Yakuza, but Yakuza comes off like a generic cinematic one-and-done that gets a pass for being quirky. --- Still waiting on that third threat |
