They haven't announced anything past a second cour yet, but isn't 50 episodes or so the usual standard for Gundam? Unless WFM really bombs soon, I expect they'll probably do another season.

Not familiar with this show in particular, but this question applies to so many anime that I don't get how this could be someone's major complaint about a show.

Just because of the spelling, my first thought for a follow-up would be Save My Santa. Though whether the timing would be right for that depends on when this one ends.

Agreed, it doesn't add much to the show and they don't do anything interesting with it. One thing of the things I like about the second half of the show is that the magical stuff is almost entirely dropped.

But then I really like those PA Works workplace shows that you hate, so yeah. Kukuru's storyline was definitely the weak part of the second half, though. It's just nonsensical. She's not qualified for the job they have her doing, they aren't training her in any meaningful way, and somehow it's her fault when she keeps screwing up? That's just bullshit.

Just watched the new Gundam.

Is this just going to be Utena but with giant robots? Because that sounds great!

Nope, Lion King hadn't won the bracket since the first contest. It was retired for the next two contests for being an absolute monster (and easily defeated the winners of those in bonus matches), but until now it hadn't won the title since being allowed back in.
