TC, there's a spiritual successor to the Danganronpa series being released next year, named Master Detective Archives: Rain Code

It's made by the same team and series creator and it certainly looks like it has the same vibe, let's hope it turns out as good as the Danganronpa games

What are you talking about? Zelda 1 introduced the top down gameplay with the overworld/underworld divide and 8 dungeons, each with a unique item which you have to beat to complete the game. It even had rudimentary puzzles!

Literally the same template adopted from AlttP onwards.

Yeah, it became more linear and less obtuse, to the point the series stagnated with Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, but still, Zelda 1 undeniably paved the path for the rest of the series' lifespan.

BotW went back to it for some of the left behind elements though, like non linearity and lack of clear pointers, in case you meant that, but that would just mean Zelda 1 influenced BotW and traditional Zelda games in different ways

I mean, it's one of the few open world games that actually takes advantage of being in a mysterious, explorable open world

What? The new Fire Emblem's map design looks like a return to form. Everything else is secondary, because bad maps = bad game. So if anything this may be one of the better ones...

It's an awesome console, it just caters to some kind of gamers and maybe you're not it. Gaming is very diverse and varied. Don't marry to the stale shit AAA western games, find and research what you like and explore these options! You'll never run out of stuff to enjoy if you know where to look
