I know you're trying refute my statement, but you aren't really contradicting me much, here. You can debate the reason, but the point is that women put a larger emphasis on how much money a man has, than a man worries about a woman's income. Men worry about when a woman makes more, because it's likely to turn into an issue.

The thing that I love most about the Arc-V era, is that it also brought a bunch of support for the older archetypes. Those BLS Super Solder cards actually made ritual decks actually cool beyond Nekroz & Gishki.

No matter how much you want to fight it, the roots of traditional gender roles that a man should take care of a woman, still exist to some degree, leading to women definitely caring more about income than men, in comparison.

Sony just keeps eliminating any practical reason to even own a PS5. Combined with Microsoft having equally little qualm with releasing games on PC, at this point, Nintendo is the only console maker who understands the need to have an incentive to ever purchase their system.

Explain to her that physical media is rather niche, & that even if she manages to update her gimmick to DVD or Blu-ray, her gimmick has a limited future. If she managed to transition to a streaming format, she'd then face the reality that many users stream from much smaller screens such as smartphones, tablets, & computer monitors. While smart TVs are a thing, they're a relative luxury these days.

Though before all of that, just disabling every screen large enough for her to fit through, would probably make more than enough challenge.

I'm pretty sure there's some primal factors that make men mindlessly throw money & gifts at women without even the possibility of getting anything in return, but I really don't want to consider it too deeply.

In the end. I don't hold Disney's live action remakes in a high enough regard to even care, but I'm not going to act as if I'm oblivious to the reality that most of these "PoC/minority" castings are partially motivated by certain agendas & to make a statement against the perceived groups the people in charge, don't like.

I've always had ideas for a strategy RPG + city management type game, where the plot & battles are directly affected by how you develop your city, the general area, & deal with enemies in combat. In simplest terms, I guess you could describe it as Civilization: JRPG Edition.

Sure, but not nearly as easy I used to. Feel as if "old me" could have completed Xenoblade 3 twice, with a third save for "funsies" by now.

Even if you want to believe that, at least accept that money can make a lot of the things that make you unhappy, better.

Besides the fact that he lives in a world where pattern recognition should make it clear that a new threat is going to show up & make his lack of training into the thing that potentially costs him his friends & family? Even if you consider they have a reset button, it would just be easier if he put in SOME training.

When did Gamespot turn into a general media reviewer? I know they expanded their news stories, but haven't been paying enough attention to seriously notice.

I'm guessing this is the "problem" people have with Limited Run Games, but if you have something like a whole month to decide to buy something that's going to be made to order, I don't think a refund should be allowed in this situation, unless the producer fails to deliver the terms of that good.

I dont think Atlus does this anymore, but I wish they and all companies do this: Have a preorder window thats a month or two long or whatever, make all those that get preordered at that time and a few extra for walkins. Scalpers get what they want, and we get what we want.

This is Limited Run Games' whole business model. At this point, I'm beginning to think it should be standard, or at least promote the notion of back orders. Scalping is no longer viable, if people can eventually get what they want from the official sellers, even if they have to wait.

Corporations conceptually want infinite money. The only way to realistically achieve that, is to lock the consumers into perpetual subscriptions. Expect every industry to try making the things you buy into some sort of "service" model.

Most people decided they don't care about COVID anymore, a long time ago. No point making a big deal about it, now.

Yeah, I'm surprised it took this long for it to happen, & I'm not surprised with the speculated reason to why. No server is going to run forever, especially if it doesn't even generate any revenue to justify its own cost. Though I'm pretty sure this is completely an Ubisoft decision, we should all keep in mind that we still trust Steam & every other storefront (except Nintendo, ironically) to continue finding it viable to keep authenticating our licenses.

If I recall, the subject has actually come up with Rumiko Takahashi before, & the reason was that her school uniform made her standout in the more fantasy setting. Not counting confusion of when Kikyo is a major recurring character, I personally would have preferred if she wore her miko/priestess outfit.

I was never into Harry Potter, but if you're going to be against everything just because of what the people behind it do, you won't have much to enjoy. Not saying you shouldn't have standards, but almost all rich people have some questionable takes; it comes with the combination of power that comes from having so much money & free time.

It doesn't matter to me either way, but if your character wears a skirt, it's basically unavoidable in an action setting; this is why video game characters often have the "black void". Otherwise, either give them something like short or tights, or just don't have them wear a skirt.

Finally checked the Nintendo Direct, & I'm surprised this one is FINALLY happening. Makes me feel ripped off that I bought the Wii U E-Shop versions of 1+2, but still. Also sounds like it won't include Battle Chip Challenge or Network Transmission, plus it's supposedly coming in that dumb "vol. 1+2" format that plagues all the other "Legacy Collections" releases, but I'd like to hope that could only be for the digital version. I'm also curious if they managed to keep the Boktai stuff.

It depends on what your definition of "mainstream" is, but I'd say it didn't get REAL big, until graphics were advanced enough that games didn't have to look cartoony anymore, with games that looked like GTA 3 & Halo being possible.

The Supreme Court is conceptually supposed to be a governing body that is independent of the typical political pressure & biases, but both democrats & republicans have figured out how to control it to their favor. Though this specific instance is a case of Democrats being stupid enough to cede Obama's ability to select his Justice when it was his right, on the basis of Republican petty BS, & complacent enough to ignore Republicans' open vows to overturn Roe v Wade someday.

While I don't personally agree with abortion, my main opinion is that it really shouldn't be a government issue, same with homosexuality. It's just ironic that Republicans promote themselves as the party of "small government", while exercising the most controlling policies.

Gonna be honest here, "defund the police" is a really dumb knee jerk response to current situations. How do you seriously expect something to improve with less resources? The only thing worse is the backwards school system that expects a potentially underfunded school to do better after becoming even more underfunded, because it didn't meet certain standards. An actual reform of law enforcement would require an evaluation of who gets hired, how they're hired, how they're trained, & the work culture surrounding it; something that isn't going to solved with some budget cuts.

Apple is about aesthetic & brand. The game issue is mostly a matter of Windows being the historically dominant OS for home computers & usually not practical to bother with anything else.
