I think I remember seeing that one of the devs for that game worked on FF Crystal Chronicles

If you're after Net Yaroze games, uk ps magazine demo 42 has a bunch of them. Best ones on that disc imo are Terra Incognita, Gravitation (in 2p vs), Psychon, Rocks n Gems, Pushy II, and Haunted Maze. Can't remember which demo# it was but I think there was one called Adventure Game that was at least worth a try.

Now I have the "music" from the Incredible Cone Man stuck in my head :(

The Unholy War
You've probably played the demo for this one that is just the mayhem mode with 4 characters. The full game has 14 characters and a strategy mode that is kinda like advance wars.
Better multiplayer, but has a single player campaign in strategy mode.

Yoyo's Puzzle Park
2d platformer. Use your blaster to stun enemies and then blow them up using the sentient bombs around the stage. 10 stages per area, each with a gimmick like being underwater or the stage rotating occasionally. Decent enemy variety and some nice power-ups to find.
Again, better in multiplayer but still good solo.

The Unholy War (PS1) Brontu leaves a damaging fart cloud as one of its attacks in battle. I'm pretty sure it's Brontu's special ability in strategy mode too.

Are you sure you can trust this "friend"?

There are some teleporters to other areas around your ranch, but they have to be activated from the other end (I think some are under the giant slimes).
You can build and place your own teleporters later but they're kinda expensive to make iirc. Other than that there's just the one way teleporters that get you back to the ranch.

No way to fast travel by selecting stuff from the map so some of the later areas can be a pain to get to/from.

Legends Arceus put in a consumable item that lets you evolve trade evos. Hopefully that's in Gen 9

Or they could just let them evolve by level up, but let them evolve early when traded.

Shelmet / Karrablast would probably have to stay as they are though

Seems like merging the boards with topic flairs by system would have worked great. Especially if the flairs were very clear like reddit (Green for Xbox, Blue for PS, Red for Switch, White for PC)
