That's rich. Someone falsely claiming that by embracing an imaginary deity that they will be able to achieve everlasting life is calling out someone as a "deceiver".

I'm glad other people liked it. When I first heard it my immediate thought was "This is lovely. I wonder how much people in the Internet will complain about it."

I've seen some girls say that the intentionally won't tell guys about their red flags because they are worried they instead of trying to fix them the guys will just try to get better at hiding them.

If rather it go against the lore and be it's own thing than already know everything that is coming in the show like with most other recent adaptations.

Once a child reaches a certain age YouTube takes over most parenting duties and that leaves time to focus on the younger kids.

Prodigy was a good watch also, more in the tone of like Star Wars Clone Wars animated series. Previews made it seem like it was aimed toward a younger audience, but it was really enjoyable.

I've been (slowly) watching that one with my kids. I don't think I'd go out of my way to watch it on my own, but it has still been fun to watch.

They just happened to be just good enough and hit that specific bit of luck to become a fad, and then the books held on to that as they continued to basically age up with their target demographic, maturing as the kids did, so an entire generation holds HP with regards as a critical part of their youth.

This is definitely a lot of what made Harry Potter so magical. Sure, there are better book series, but I didn't read those with my family when I was younger, go to midnight releases of the books and movies with my friends throughout highschool and college, geek out over speculations about future books or the latest Harry Potter themed meme video, bond with my future wife talking about the 7th book after it just released, or throw our first son a Harry Potter themed 1st birthday party.

It's easy for people who were never really into Harry Potter to just ignore it and move on, but when it was a huge part of my life for over 2 decades I'm not just going to suddenly drop it because the author came out publicly as a ****.

No. I don't know if this exact rule applies everywhere, but at least where I live you are not legally allowed to park within 10' of a fire hydrant.

There is a difference between gold digging and wanting a partner who can support themselves.

I played it a bit over the last few years when my kids got into it.
I avoided playing it earlier since I knew it was the type of game I would get super obsessed with and waste 100s of hours on.

If a game was 100 hours at a minimum, I would probably just avoid it and not even start it. But if the main story was 20-40 hours and there were 100s of hours of side content, I might end up spending over 100 hours on the game by the time I was done.

Probably my telescope. I have fun using it, but there are a very limited number of days in a year that it either isn't either too cold or there aren't too many bugs.

As cool as it sounds to own a 3D printer, I know I wouldn't use it enough to make it worthwhile. Plus I've got a friend with a couple 3D printers if I ever need a couple things printed.

There is a huge difference between saying you don't want to be a superhero when you're sitting on a beach in Mexico vs saying you don't want to be a superhero when you're in a crowded room with a supervillain going on a rampage.

My Amex card used to be higher, but they lowered it after I went a couple of years without using it. After that I set it as my default payment card for Amazon so it would at least get some use.

Nice, I'll have to check it. A few of the books I've read have touched on the history of transgender people, but it wasn't the central premise of any of them.

As much as I love Kim, I would prefer to just live with my delusions that she ends up leading a boring but fulfilling life helping the less fortunate with their legal troubles, rather than getting sucked back into something interesting enough to make a TV show about.

Definitely a great adaptation of the comics.
Personally I'm glad they went through the first 2 arcs from the comics rather than trying to stretch Preludes and Nocturnes into a whole season. Though I can see where the change in tone midway through the season to be a bit jarring to some people.

I liked traveling when I was younger when my parents were paying for everything.
Now it just seems so expensive, and when I get back I'm less rested than before I left but have to go into work the next day.
At this point I'd usually rather just take a week to stay home and rest if I'm going to take time off of work.

Unfortunately for the country we are at a point where there could be definitive proof that Trump sold nuclear secrets to the Russians and millions of his supporters would call it fake news and still demand that he be made president again.

I found a Command and Conquer guide I had printed out back in like '96 or '97. I should probably search my parent's house for that again before they throw it out (if they haven't already).
I mostly just saved guides for console games to the computer since I could just look at them while playing the game, but C&C had a tendency to crash if I ever minimized the window.
It is pretty crazy thinking back to what the internet was like in those days, having to connect every time you wanted to get online, not being able to make phone calls if someone was using the internet, and taking hours to download a grainy video of a video game.

It looks like in the US the top 3 flavors are:

1. Plain
2. Barbecue
3. Sour Cream and Onion

Plain seems a bit odd to be number 1, but I guess it's probably either because if you need to get 1 flavor of chips for a bunch of people, it is the safest bet. Or becuase people buy it to go along with dips to give it some actual flavor.

Have you considered doing any research on this topic besides memorizing anti-transgender talking points?
Maybe read a book by a trans person about their experiences so you can learn some empathy towards others who are different than you? Or is your schedule too fully booked with trolling on a dying video game website to find the time for that?
