It depends on how far the desk is. In my gameroom, I have my desktop PC connected to 3 monitors plus a very long HDMI cable running to my Samsung TV. You could also stream to the TV wirelessly, but then you introduce some latency.

nobody buys consoles because they want to save money. everyone knows PC is cheaper due to steam sales and no online fees etc. people only buy consoles for exclusives or because they are tech illiterates and they paid someone to hook their ps5 up to their tv for them

I find that unless the game has been out for a long time, I can actually find console games cheaper (during sales) than PC nowadays. Steam sales are not as good as they used to be. I usually use slickdeals, cheapassgamer, and gg.deals to find the best prices.

Why compare the cost of just 2 PC parts to a complete system/console? For me, I would choose a $500 console over a cheap budget PC.

If you have the money to build a mid to high-end PC, that would be preferable though.

Just started watching last night and finished the first 3 episodes, I like Lucy's character so far. Too bad Sasha (girl from ED theme/trailer) was gone before the start of the series though.

I'm considered a casual when it comes to anime as I only really watch the more popular, well known stuff. I'll watch dubbed or subbed depending on the setting and characters usually. Mostly 'western' characters (ex. FMA, AoT, Spy x Family, ect), dubbed. Mostly Asian characters, subbed. An exception is if I find a major character's voice super annoying/distracting, I may switch. If I rewatch an anime, sometimes I'll also switch on the new watch through for something different.

The whole Jean thing is fairly creepy too, and for some reason he has had like 6 or 7 sidekicks through the years that are all teenage girls. Ultimate universe version of Wolverine tried to hook up with teenage Jean and teenage Mary Jane (while in Peter's body).

Software support and security updates? Even budget iPhones get updates for 6+ years, while midrange android phones often stop after 2 or 3 years. Heck, I've had an LG and Moto phones that stop getting updates after like a year, lol. I think my new Pixel phone promises 3 years of updates. Most apps tend to get developed and released on iOS first as well.

I have an older Apple Watch I got for fairly cheap and found it a convenient way of doing some things without the need of using the phone. Notifications (texts/email/doorbell camera), controlling music/audio, garage opener, fitness tracking, stocks, unlocking/finding phone, timer/stopwatch/alarms/reminders, asking Siri stuff, ect.

Only 2 episodes, so it is still early, but I think it has good potential. Some people are complaining that the show is slow paced, but the books and movies were pretty slow in the beginning too. Dialogue is fine to me, LOTR always had some corniness/cheesiness to me (by modern standards).

Texas? I recommend the Whataburger app. Maybe like 2 times a month they got a coupon, buy med fries and a drink get a free burger. meal is about $5 after tax. They also send physical coupons in the mail once in a while. You have to get the burger they offer, but you can just customize most of it anyway.

It could just be a normal bear market rally, but earnings haven't been as bad as people thought they would be. Gas/oil prices are coming down. Also, some people interpreted that Powell said the Fed would cut rates sooner than expected after raising them to around 3.5% or so. I personally don't think they will cut rates that soon unless inflation goes way, way down.

Apple had ~8.5 billion in wearable revenue just last quarter from the earnings report just released this week. Wearable includes Airpods and headphones though. I remembered the article incorrectly, it said Apple surpassed the entire swiss watch market in sales back in 2020, not the rest of the companies, which makes more sense.

X-men have a lot of bi and gay characters in the comics, but I doubt most of them will be addressed/shown in the MCU except for Iceman though. Actually, many of the major women characters on the X-men are bisexual now that I think about it. Kate Pryde, Rachel Summers, Psylocke/Betsy, Magik, Storm (unconfirmed?), Mystique, ect.

Only a TV/streaming series, but Loki is bi iirc.

This is so strange to me. There are more white people than any other race in America. Why wouldn't they have more white people than any other race in the movies? Of course they are more white than other races, it's a movie made in America where that's what more people look like than any other race. A chinese movie is probably mostly Chinese.

The US as a whole is like 75% white, but most of these movies take place in major diverse cities like New York, not rural America though.

I would never buy the first year of a new design/model car, and definitely not a first year of a Ford. Basically beta testers, lol. Also, a new report by JD power said nearly all car brands quality went down last year as well, probably due to shortages.

A 9,000 lb vehicle that has very fast acceleration, imagine the accidents at speed with these things. I wonder how good the brakes are, since I remember some reviewers complaining about the new Tesla Model S having awful brakes for the amount of performance/acceleration/weight that car has.

It's actually better now because you can use the monthly coupon to buy credit on the Gamestop website/app (the $10 PSN card worked the last 3 months for me at least). Before, you had to go in-store to use the coupon for digital currency.

House of X and Powers of X is actually pretty well like and sold very well. X-Men for the past several years before the current storyline was considered awful, mainly due to Marvel deprioritizing them because of Fox having the movie rights instead of Disney.

It started in 2019 so about 3 years ago. Xavier and Magneto find out that mutants basically lose every time in the future, so they decide on trying to change things by bringing all mutants together on Krakoa (mutant island) so they have a better chance. They also basically solved death and can bring any dead mutant back to life and are currently in the process of resurrecting 16+ million mutants.

I got a pro membership last year when I traded in my PS4. Gamestop online ordering has been pretty bad for me in that time. Nearly half the games I've ordered were either them sending the wrong game, missing entirely, or a used game sold as new, lol.

Would feel the same way if Spike and Giles hooked up. It just doesn't make sense.

I only read season 8 a very long time ago, and I think Buffy sleeps with Satsu like twice before ending it and Willow basically says Buffy is not really bi or something... According to the wiki, Buffy gets with Angel and they break up again. Then gets with Spike for a few years and ends the series single as a cop with Faith. Also, Xander and Dawn are together, Angel and Illyria are a thing (with Fred being brought back and sharing her body).
