X and Y were a breath of fresh air graphically, which helped cover up the game's relative ease (for the most part) and atrocious story that was a huge step back from the prior two games. The competitive metagame also took on a huge evolution with XY and it was great.It felt a little too much with the competitive scene as everything was getting broken. And it only got worse with further generations with all the terrain and GMax stuff. Tried VGC yesterday against my brother and the match got over in 5 turns LMAO. --- Congrats to azuarc, the Guru Champ! |
