Really bad pick by Lamar at midfield and the Bills with a great chance to take the lead.

You would think this game was being played in Buffalo with how badly these calls have been made in their favor.

Good drive by the Bills to end the half, but they shouldn't have even had the ball to begin with. Fortunate they aren't down 23-27 to 3 at halftime.

Bills just got away with blatant DPI on the Ravens last drive after the refs called an insanely ticky-tack OPI on Andrews that likely cost the ravens 4 points earlier in the half.

Was afraid the Falcons would fail me, but all 4 underdogs I considered for level 2 won. Good week so far for underdogs generally which counteracts my concerns about the '9ers I guess.

Road teams wrecking this week makes me slightly worried about 49ers tonight, but not enough to switch off them.

Edit: Not as bad as I thought since both Chiefs and Bills lost, but still 7 wins so far.

Yeah they weren't set either. They needed the delay of game not to get called for an illegal shift too.

You can't just run quick passes up two scores in the second half against Tampa. You at least need to run inside to keep them honest if nothing else, and I'd much rather gas their big guys for the end of the game when it matters than play an ineffective passing game.

If we're going to go three and out anyway, I'd much rather run my heavy, hard-running back at the defense for 2-3 yards than throw quick 3 yard passes.

LaFleur's 2nd half gameplan has been poop as per usual. Why he refuses to run A.J. Dillon more between the tackles remains a mystery.

Eh, I mean it's impressive, but I think a lot of great QBs of the past could have if they wanted to arm-wise, but they weren't coddled like QBs since the Manning/Brady era. It seems pretty doable as long as you can protect a statue in the pocket and let him just have to make reads and throws.

It looks like on the spreadsheet you have me down as having picked the Packers Week 1. You scored me correctly points-wise so I'm guessing you just copied the wrong team on the spreadsheet, but the Panthers were the team I picked along with the Seahawks that week (Packers were my failed tiebreaker pick).

Also, not that it matters since I know what you mean, but mine is flip-flopped between teams picked and teams I have left labels.

If only I knew Trey Lance was going to get injured in the 1st quarter, I could have taken the '9ers and advanced comfortably.

I picked Seattle last week because they were home and I figured the Broncos would still suck - not like Russ being on a bad team made a difference last year. Picked the Texans ATS, but didn't risk it in Pick 'em since Denver is home and I don't know how bad relative to each other the two teams are right now.

I didn't see the last 3 tds, but that whole game to that point made Miami look like an elite offense being held back by Tua. I still don't believe in him.

I think it's fair to be concerned that the game might be trying to rely on the popularity of previous games' protagonists to prop itself up instead of succeeding on its own merits.

While it might be reading too much into the game's first trailer, it's still a valid concern when that's what they decided to lead with and highlight.

There's nothing wrong with running clock there, except after the 3rd down play, they wasted clock for no reason.

Well, that and the fact the strategy needs to be to run clock while kicking a high percentage game-winner as time expires. Absolutely no idea why they kick from 64 yards out instead of going for a 4th and 5.

Yeah, I'm pretty confident it hit last year.

I learned my lesson several seasons ago to just always say yes. Nfl also seems to intentionally schedule a lot of even matchups Week 1 on top of new coaching staffs and rosters resulting in teams having to feel each other out.
