Yeah definitely. It's a tough situation to be in all round.

KOTOR existed because it was basically a dream team game of the time. A Star Wars RPG developed by Bioware. That was a nerds dream and the stars were aligned to make it happen. It was the perfect game at the perfect time.

But those kinds of games aren't popular anymore to the point that Bioware doesn't even know how to maintain this formula anymore. A dream team type game these days is Insomniac developing Spider-man. It's just a different landscape now.

I just find it hard to wrap my head around what a KOTOR Remake would actually play like. Maybe something like the FFVII Remake is the closest sort of compromise I can think of. The developer isn't even notable either.

This was my first real market dip, and I'm still kinda waiting for the axe to drop. Still got that feeling of impending doom, maybe I'm just a pessimist.
