Damn that sucks. There is an indicator on the f16 that turns blue or purple (my memory is off) when a certain chemical called Hydrazine is leaking. If its blue/purple you have to gtfo away from the aircraft. I heard from other coworkers that if you've been exposed to it 3 times on your record you get medically discharged.

I remember some people being around a jet when the indicator turned blue/purple and they had to be sprayed with a fire hose. Got to leave work early too iirc.

Found a pic of the indicator. It is supposed to be orange normally. Never been around one that changed colours fortunately.

Dont know if its that one or the same one thats in transformers my granddaddy had to wade through after one cracked or the shit they used to use in firefighting foam. There are a lot of shitty chemicals still in use on bases from what I can tell.

One of my friends from the military joined at 17. We met in bmt and I was surprised that he was that young despite me being only 2 years older lol. He is still serving too. He just works backstop for f-15s. Seemed pretty cushy to me whenever he'd describe it. I worked the flightline and hated it. I dipped out the military a few years ago.

Yeah its cushy untiL the chemicals get you. My pops best friend worked on airfields pretty much his entire life until one of the chemicals pretty much systematically fucked every organ in his body.

That idea has some merit. Its black with a white apron. Stains would show up quite well, but if theyre ketchup shed know someone was messing with it. I need to think of something that would be paradoxically both innocuous, but also obvious. Since we have kids, play-doh might work but I dont want to make her angry with them since theyre innocent parties to this whole business.

i'm not exactly opposed to 18 year olds enlisting, as the structure, discipline, exposure to new environments and mindsets, guaranteed work experience, and benefits can change lives for the better. but those in power need to direct and command with utmost discretion, because their recklessness can and does ruin lives, families, and societies at home and abroad.

I understand and Ive considered that, but its been 10 years and a move of house, plus a downsizing to make room for kid stuff. Keeping it was a deliberate decision. Which is what spins me out.

Unlike what the peanut gallery up there seems to think, my first and only reaction isnt just to post about it on here. Its a really cheesy lingerie meets French maid outfit. Apparently that was got his motor running. Weve laughed about it in the past. Really *basic* kink stuff. Apparently he also used to like really heavy makeup. She told me she threw it out years ago.
