So then why are those same limitations suddenly gone in RE4? Why is Kratos now immune to puzzles when he isn't in his own games?

And then how come the instant death plagas can't kill Kratos when he insists on being in close range? In story they would rip his head off instantly before Kratos even knew it because he's not shooting them from 30 feet away.

You want storyline logic when convienent and gameplay logic when conveient.

Leon spends 6 hours getting a key to a church then leaves said church by climbing out an open window he easily could have just climbed into.

I think it's safe to assume they still have to abide by basic logic of the games or else the average CE user could have saved Ashley by breaking the game.

One of the biggest levels of the original was gathering skulls to get past a puzzle door
And the one of the biggest plot maguffins of the second was getting across a wide gap

Kratos has a terrible track record of protecting people, Failed his wife, failed his brother, failed the Spartans, failed Pandora, failed his second wife.

And he can't use firearms.

To be fair to Crowbcat he has responded to this and says he didn't change the audio for the video and in fact raised the Remake's audio slightly.

Up to you if you want to call him a liar or not but he's claiming his default audio settings are different to everyone elses.

Either way it's a bad look considering how dishonest the editing and comparison was in his video.

For some reason they went with a generic sound track. It's fine but the weird abient music of the original was way better.

In terms of sounds outside of music, the audio in the remake is way better for general gameplay. It doesn't overlap over itself, sound effects aren't repeated, Monks don't scream "BLAEGH" when they fire a crossbow, enemy sound volume is actually different depending on how far away they are.

There's also just a larger library in general for random sound effects.

Any dislikes being quoted or screenshotted are pure fantasy based on estimated ratios. Where is the information for the estimate coming from? From users of a browser add-on.

Sure, other users have already pointed them out. Cutting out the gameplay of the Krauser boss fight and then comparing it to the QTE sequence from the original. The edited footage makes it looks like Krauser just turns up and then leaves and nothing is explained

In reality the story is all still there, vastly improved and the gameplay laced boss battle is 5,000 times better than a QTE sequence.

Or for example the Ashley sequence where he compares the room full of knights in the OG approaching Ashley to 1 knight approaching Ashley in the Remake. Implying the remake is lazy and underwhelming, as opposed to comparing the room full of knights to the room full of knights, in which the Remake is again sooooooooo much better.

Or how it shows the ambience of the RE4 Ganados but edits the video clips so you never hear the same shit repeated. When in the OG you heard the same sound effects and voice lines over and over and over and over often overlapping. Which has been drastically improved in the remake.

I mean that's just a couple, I can keep going but it's about a 3rd of the video is just the best of RE4 made to look better compared to the worst of the remake made to look worse and tons of the people viewing it are still visably confused over how good the remake looks.

Review scores are meaningless. Do you also think the best film of any given year is the one that wins an oscar award?
