Yeah, I'm not surprised Biden would go that way. As President, a blow to the economy reflects bad on him, regardless of the context. Especially with some sectors still recovering from Covid, he was pretty much in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. I don't agree with it, but a lot people don't consider how brutal politics can truly be.

Those XB1X games still had to be ideally be playable on a base model XB1, so many games truly made any use of it? Mid-generation upgrades seem to be for people who want to be on the relative bleeding edge of PC tier gaming, but don't want to make the effort of managing a gaming PC. The premise of a console is that you have a consistent set top box, until the next one.

"Pro" consoles are a stupid concept. You either wind up with a system that has extra power that can handle some extra features, but is ultimately constrained by the fact the software has to remain compatible with the original build, or an inferior console to the proper successor; just compare the PS4 Pro to the actual PS5 for reference.

If you actually do decide to focus on the upgraded hardware, you have to accept that you are excluding the bulk of your initial user base that is unwilling to spend extra just for the relatively minor improvement. There's a reason there weren't many DSi or New 3DS exclusives.

Committing crimes that bare potential harm to Dragon Quest? He'll be lucky if the only put him under the jail. This feels like a major potential career ender; his future is probably him hanging around con panels, at best.

I'd hope his losing again would finally be enough to end him politically, or at least discredit his ability to call elections rigged.

I mean, the Russian military has demonstrated to be so incapable, that if they didn't have nukes, it actually wouldn't be a bad idea. Emphasis on the IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE NUKES part, because thanks to their Soviet reserves, they're the most nuclear capable nation after the US.

Seriously, this comic starts with a simple premise of them getting back at him for that groping comic, they make some kinda weird threats like dumping him on an island & a kinda awkward euphemism for smashing him into a wall, then he channels the power of anime to, as to quote Dorkly, make them "super pregnant".

Y'know, I like how these comics kinda start out with a simple premise, take some wildly ridiculous detour, then spending the time contemplating what the actual joke was.

I find the tipping system to be BS, but I wouldn't mind it if not for how some servers act about it. I've never had any personal experience with it, but the way servers get all mafia-like passive aggressive about it when they start laying out what you should tip, shaming people on social media, & making threats about when you come back next time if you don't, is a real turnoff. If tips are basically going to be an act of coercion, they may as well just pay the servers more & raise the prices accordingly.

Probably a woman. Hillary may not have worked out & AOC is kinda meme-ish, but I feel like Kamala Harris is basically just a prelude for their second attempt; her being Biden's VP is just to get people acclimated with the possibility.

Really, it's not that complicated. Going with a fictional country allows you to avoid making any unintentional statements or potential controversies that may be associated with a real country. As a fictional & hidden country, you can put it wherever you want, make whatever history about it you like, & rationalize why it hasn't affected the world in too drastic a manner. Finally, & this is a big one, given most American comic book stories were written in an era where Black people having a super advanced society would be a contentious subject to say the least, a fictional country was probably borderline necessary.

There's very few problems that money can't fix if you have enough, with the right application. Even if you have problem that can't be solved with money, such as incurable disease, money can still help make it better with treatments & medications.

The only people who deny how much money could help them, are the ones who just accept they won't likely have such levels of money.

Thematically, r/FDS is probably the closest to an incel you'll ever get, but even most of those can get men if they want to. As in literally "involuntarily celibate", that one's mostly impossible, short of some explicit obstructions such as being physically incapable of sex or having no one available at all. As a collective, men have little to no standards for what they'll have sex with, meaning any straight woman who wants sex but isn't is voluntarily refusing her options, to some degree.

I was about to question how could this even be possible, but it seems like these are something akin to embassies, that are really stretching the limits of their authority. Though really, almost guaranteed this is used to exploit & manipulate Chinese Americans.

I just find it annoying that so many employers require degrees & certifications, while much of the Boomers & Gen X in upper management probably only have a high school diploma, at best.

You have to keep in mind that the person who wrote something like this, is obviously trying to get something for (relative)nothing.

Boy, the rage of "anime swordsman" would be quite the spectacle at this point.

Game, anime, & general "geek" stuff has become a lot more socially acceptable, especially in the last five years or so, so this really isn't the question it used to be.
