Depending on how you view Hand of God, this will essentially be the first World Cup where you can't dispute anything Argentina has done.

Hand of God was when they literally glorified cheating. I've had a hard time viewing Argentina and Maradona even near to where hype puts them, which is more than sky high and reaching to outer space, though I am rooting for them in this final.

My love for finishing games is constantly at war for my desire to 100% them, and sometimes go back and do my own challenge runs. I should be around my upper 700s. My past dip into LoL, and now currently WoW, surely hasn't helped.

I actually regret using a guide on Simon's Quest, even if it was just for that one thing. Figuring things out is part of the journey specially if a game is more Adventure rather than Action.

Arguably the 4 most marketable players on the planet and if France lose to England, then you still have Kane who is p much the face of the Premier League.

Messi vs. Ronaldo would be the most anticipated matchup IMO but not sure if I want those two in the finals.

Mexico also has a chance if Argentina wins over Poland lol, but then it'll come down to how badly Poland loses and/or how well Mexico smashes SA, with the latter having less room for error.

I might just be an idiot (typically a safe bet) but how can Mexico win?

If I see that correctly, if Argentina loses to Poland it will stay with its 3 pts. If Mexico wins against SA, it will have 4 pts, for a final standing of:

Poland: 7
Mexico: 4
Argentina: 3
Saudi Arabia: 3

If Argentina ties against Poland, Mexico still has a chance but it should score at least a 4 goal advantage over SA to safely advance. If the advantage only manages to be of 3 goals, total Goals in Favor will be the tiebreaker, then fair play, then luck... but there'd be a chance!
