I guess it's understandable that people tend to broaden their horizons and expand their possibilities that way if they get boo'd in the country they live in for even just dating someone from another ethnicity, let alone start a relationship with them. Sounds like quite a hassle though, especially for people in the US if they want to find someone in another country aside from Canada and Mexico.

If you insist on that definition/description (unresolved trauma) I'd point out that in most depictions he *does* give significant donations while also wanting people to fear him (and even here, it's not JUST fear him, he wants them to fear him so they stop doing the bad thing). So some "unresolved trauma" and some growth - would therapy really weaken him to the extent kryptonite weakens Superman?

I kinda of get your logic but I'd say while Batman *has* a lot of lingering trauma it's not necessarily "unresolved" - the extent to which he's been aware of it and how he's made meaning of it has changed/grown.
