You could make the same argument with music. New music comes out every day and some people just like listening to the same stuff they liked in high school.

Video games can have a similar nostalgia. Hence why i bought the ps2 gta trilogy on ps4 and played thru them all again.

4 weeks vacation, 15 sick days, 7 other misc. days.

I usually only use like 1 or 2 sick days a year.

Well its for my son for christmas. But yeah. I finally caved.

Christmas as a kid was always special and even as a young adult. Christmas as a parent is SO much better. You get to build core memories in your childs life and the enjoyment and excitement of seeing someone receive a gift is much more rewarding than getting a gift.

Not to mention putting together memorable family gatherings and making the food for those.

The local branch started sending hand written letters to neighbours. As if i couldnt tell the letter at my door:

1) had no postmark
2) was at my door, not my mail box

Just happy they dont drop by anymore after covid.

I dont understand people who eat anything other than their breakfast menu. The burgers and chicken products are frankly crap compared to the competition. Their breakfast menu is legit.

But yeah what used to be $5 is suddenly $8 and im not sure its worth it.

I did some classes in uni after my degree (i was 26) and i felt like a damn grandpa.

There was one class where a prof asked for a show of hands who had a mortgage and i was the lone hand that went up.

The flip side was every keener wanted me in their group because i knew wtf i was doing. Between subject knowledge and life experience i could guide them in the right direction while putting in as little effort as possible (while still being helpful/effective)

Happened to goalie Roberto Luongo like 15 years ago.

Elimination game in the playoffs. Played lights out all game. Suddenly in overtime the backup goalie comes out.

Dude had to shit. He missed overtime to take a dump.

Signing my son up for piano lessons.

Turns out hes really good, and his teacher really knows how to motivate him to want to learn. Its given him confidence in himself and an ability to play in front of others (which i could never do). Its inspiring to watch.

I didn't do this as a bachelor, but I usually make a big batch of chilli every few months and freeze it in individual tupperware containers. For me it makes an easy lunch to reheat, but for a bachelor it's easily like 15 dinners for one.

Probably 99 or 2000 for cheat codes.
