For the first time ever I beat Zelda 2 without cheesing the final boss, felt so relieved...I still kinda cheesed the game by maxing out first and saving all crystals til the end for an auto-1up though and with most Link dolls also saved til the end went to the valley of death with 13 lives

Ages was more focused on puzzle solving, Seasons was more focused on combat, that's the major difference I think

To this day there is still absolutely nothing more fun in any Zelda game than being trapped in a room with like 8 darknuts who you can only stab in the back or side because of their shields, who move sporadically to troll the living hell out of you, while simultaneously having to dodge fireballs being shot at you by statues in the corner of the room, or a room full of wizrobes while having to dodge like-likes that will eat your shield

Not really. In the 90s the "ancient alien phenomena" was a lot more obscure, the show's mythology was more about the more typical sightings/abductions etc. The plot reflected back to Roswell more than the supposed ancient stuff

I think the later seasons may have touched on it briefly, like when Robert Patrick replaced David Duchovny. I know they did an episode about the Mayan Calendar and the whole 2012 obsession.

Once Jefferson came on it basically changed to a real life cartoon, which is when it hit its stride imo. So that's the beauty of MwC, it never jumps the shark because it's always zany and off the walls

What's funny about that is that Ted McGinley has a hilarious reputation of shows jumping the shark as soon as he joined the cast (Love Boat, Happy Days, etc), just not really in this case lol

USA men's football will simply never compete with the rest of the world whose top tier athletes actually participate in the sport. It's not an excuse so much as a legitimate fact that the best athletes in the US just don't play the sport. American football, baseball and basketball get first dibs on the country's top athletes period.

Kias are generally considered pretty reliable, but fair warning I drive a '17 Forte, but the transmission did blow at about 70k, covered under warranty though. However a coworker of mine drove a Soul, not sure what year, and it lasted 200k.

I think the 2019 models were notoriously bad for transmission issues

I have all Indiana Jones movies in a boxset. I've watched and rewatched Raiders of the Lost Ark about 1,000 times. I've watched the other 3 movies a combined total of 0 times lol

Here's what I never understood, the whole concept of "you can remove your mask if fully vaccinated" made no sense to me. Unless you have an N95 mask, wasn't the point of masks to prevent yourself from spreading it if you were carrying it? They said very early on the mask doesn't necessarily prevent you from catching it, just prevents carriers from spreading. You can still be carrying if vaxed/booster and the mask is still useful to prevent from spreading it so why was vaccination status used as the criteria for whether or not stores required a mask or not at one point?

And nothing is categorically "wrong" per s but cooking a good quality steak above medium is factually a waste. A high-quality steak will not be discernible from a low-quality steak at well done. There's nothing wrong with well done steak, I eat well done steak all the time especially in cheesesteaks and stir fry but if you want well-done steak, use cheap cuts preferably thin.

I think medium-rare is usually the best combination of flavor, juiciness and tenderness for a good quality steak...(blind taste tests have shown that rare steak enthusiasts actually prefer medium-rare)....except for really marbled steaks like a ribeye, go medium for those because the fat will render more and be too chewy at med-rare.

I'm right there with ya TC but it doesn't stop with actors. I'm completely out of touch with today's pop culture entirely, I don't know most if any current actors/actresses, or the movies/TV shows they're in, nor do I know most music stars or pop hits.

I have this long list of shows people tell me I should watch that are supposed to be really good but I instead find myself rewatching things I've already seen and I don't even know why
