Twitter is not just rich people bitching about first-world problems and random nobodies posting their shower thoughts. Literally anything you can think of has a Twitter account and it is the fastest way to spread news and awareness of everything. The Internet is supposed to be the way to keep everyone connected and transmit information instantly, but now it's all gonna be paywalled before long because "That's how business works. You don't have a right to the Internet. Pay or shut up"

Honestly, I don't even care if someone doesn't like Twitter, but don't use inconsistent logic. Anyone who tells me that they just accept the cost of everything and shut up is a liar. Hating Twitter is just as cringy as loving it.

In 1990 video games were the equivalent of $140 today. That's the base price for AAA SNES games. Some games were nearly $100 during that generation in that time's money.

Corporations have the right to charge whatever they want for their services. It's up to us, the consumer, to buy it or not.

The consumer has absolutely no power in the world, and you can't cheer on the death of social while celebrating the billionaire owner of the biggest site in the fucking world.

I'm just happy that @LeoRavus has solved the economy. There are no issues because no one has a right to services from private companies. Businesses set prices and we either pay them or shut the fuck up. We should never hear another complaint about the cost of anything from this day forward. Now we can focus on other issues in the world.

If you're on there for financial gain, then pony up. If a blue check means something to you, pony up. No one, literally no one, has to use that service. It's not some free site sponsored by the government that we have a right to use.

You aren't even listening. There used to be an actual verification system to confirm the identities of many popular and relevant accounts, not just celebrities posting hot takes, and it was free. The verification system has now been removed and replaced with a subscription fee that requires zero verification. Explain how that makes sense without mentioning constitutional rights or how much you want to smack the smugness off a celebrity's face.

Maybe video games should be bumped up to $120 so you can sit in your corner and laugh at how cheap and entitled people are.

Do you receive any compensation for your corporate bootlicking or do you volunteer? Bitching about celebrities while defending a corporation being cheap while being run by the richest attention whore on the planet. I hope everything you spend money on gets tripled in price.

Innocent people get executed regularly and the definition of "pedophile" is expanding across many of the states that still execute.

Also, what does execution accomplish? They're already locked up in some high-security federal prison far removed from society! Are we also going to remove the appeals process on case-by-case basis when we're double dog sure the person is guilty? Because otherwise, prison is always cheaper.

No, they're saying people are abusing the system and preventing the tons of imaginary victims of gender transition from sharing their story. Missouri seems to believe there are roughly 20 millions trans people in their state and that all of them were transitioned against their will.
