red13n's bold prediction that Samus had no chance against Mario and all the x-stats guys are like "lol nope"... I think red nailed at least a couple more successful bold predictions, but I don't remember them. I know he had some crazy predictions that went true outside of GameFAQs, too (that's another story for another day). And then a couple years later his bold prediction that L-Block couldn't possibly get past Snake/Sonic/Squall (whoops)... oh, how the mighty had fallen.

I wonder who has been more impressive with their two contributions, cakophon or Place? Hmmmm.... Oh, and I got what I wanted with Kaze no Notam, so I am obviously supporting it! Raetsel, I will add Zero Account as an alt. Might as well do it now before I forget.

Neotokyo notes - it'd be cool to have three tracks that haven't been in a contest rather than just the one. Sprawl and Footprint would be fine choices. Impetus or Caraspace are ok, too. I'm just not that enthusiastic about setlists with that many past vgmc participants. Of course, the overall quality of the music is very high, so I'm on the fence regarding support as is.

Super Monkey Ball 2 - I find this setlist pretty divisive. Four of the six are super awesome! And the other two are kind of annoying, but more especially Menu ~ Clear. I have no qualms with short tracks--I just find it grating. Would be far more inclined to support it if you put something (preferably Ocean) in its place.

Xenogears - I love My Village Is Number One! so much!! I hope you'll keep that, even though other people will likely want it removed.... I would probably support the setlist as is, but if that's taken out I'm far less inclined to support. Also, maybe consider taking out Small Two of Pieces? It's pretty divisive.

I am curious as to whether you guys would like the original Sullied Grace or the CD version. They're basically the same except the original version does not have the maniacal laughing (at about the 2:00 mark), as well as added "stuff" at the end that really don't matter. Anyway, I thought I would choose this game as my one returner from BOST5. Why this one? I've known about this OST for a few years and casually listened through it once. But a couple months ago I decided to go through and actually pay attention to it, and I was flabbergasted by how consistently good it was! Hirokazu Ando is a genius with how he took the sound design of Kirby games to new heights. Sky at Sunset is the perfect example of Ando's use of beautiful textures, so pay attention to that one. This game is my latest obsession and it recently became my fourth favorite game soundtrack. Oh, and I think this game needs redemption, too, because it lost rather early in BOST5.

I found out about this game from a Toxtricity vgm ranking topic where he shared Abnormal Gravity Area. I was hooked to that track immediately. I decided to go through the whole soundtrack of Mega Man Network Transmission and was quite impressed! So here we are. I was worried I was going to be a bit short on supports. After going through the music today, I will say there is no shortage of amazing setlists at this point! There are also eight others that are "likely" supports.

Kaze No Notam is a "possible" support - I'm more enthusiastic about music that's never been in vgmc. Four on the setlist have been in VGMC. Ergo, I think it would be cool to put staff roll or menu on the main setlist, and to remove one that's been in VGMC. If you do that, I will 100% support! And if you do that for both staff roll and menu, that's even better!

My second favorite soundtrack of all time! I'm still a bit unsure of this setlist. Infinite Dungeon 2 was net 3 votes away from potential retirement (back in VGMC 14), so it's the only obvious choice. GP Eastern Spire is my favorite in the game, so that one's staying put. Scorching Desert seems like a good choice as it stuck out to me when I listened to the ost for the first time. But I am very much looking for more feedback! (I should have sought some out earlier, but oh well!)

I take my request back regarding Sonic Adventure 2, as I decided Supporting Me ... for Biolizard isn't THAT great. I'll just support the game. >_>

With KCF apparently not participating in BOST again, I think I have free reigns to nominate Opoona! It's my third favorite game soundtrack on the planet. :)

For this game, I chose tracks among my favorites that seem like they could beat fodder. For those relatively new, Partizans retired in VGMC, so it's the obvious #1 here. Blue Desert Hotel did well enough against a heavy hitter in VGMC 11, so it's on there, too.

Someone requested Kaihou Revolution on the main setlist, but I"m not so sure about this one! Break Into Mars is the one I would most likely cut in favor of Kaihou. For those considering supporting this, I would be interested in an opinion or two as to Break Into Mars vs. Kaihou. But I welcome all kinds of other opinions, too!

Funny how I found Terra Diver's soundtrack when I was actually searching for music by Kimihiro Abe! And honestly I consider this game a better discovery than anything I discovered that was written by Abe, haha... My opinion of Sakimoto went up considerably after finding out about this game! (the remixes were done by Kudo and Kaneda, but I will note that Abe's remix of Satellite's Orbit is excellent, as well, but I can only do two remixes per setlist)
