Arcade Fire also put out Funeral in that time. i see, Im only really a fan of modest mouse and the yeah yeah yeahs out of these bands but arctic monkeys absolutely exploded with the AM album around 2013/2014 and modest mouses biggest hit is probably around 2007ish and they were headlining big venues off their early stuff throughout the 2010s --- sigless user |

Just feels so weird since back when I found them out the genre was so popular and you heard their songs everywhere. Like Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out was everywhere. Now its kind of rare to hear them or even see people mention their existence. not sure how early were defining early 2000s, but I feel like modest mouse and arctic monkeys both hit peak popularity over the past decade i sure do wish early 2000s modest mouse was their most popular stuff though --- sigless user |
