Good news is, there's no point to keeping HBO after those two end since that stupid merger is going to make it so easy to cancel. Maybe do a free trial and binge house of the dragon season 2 next year, but without elite TV like the ones you mentioned, it's a pretty easy cut.

Yup. If this is truly Curb's last season, canceling HBO after it's over is a no brainer for me.

At least until Last of Us season 2.

Yup. Basically this.

I was propositioned ONCE for a threesome by a drunk coworker at an after work event. I was with my wife at the time, but not yet married, and she drunkenly told me that she'd have a threesome with me and another woman, but not with my wife, because that would make it awkward.

When I saw her the following Monday she acted like that conversation never happened.

I'm still now 100% sure what she meant by it being awkward.

I don't want to call it "easy" but you'd be surprised how simple (in theory, but not execution) just the slightest bit of exercise and eating right can get you on a healthy path.

And not even anything crazy like 2 hours of cardio every day.

This is going back almost 15 years now, but I was up over 300 pounds back when my son was born. One of those situations where my wife got pregnant, but I got all the cravings and overeating habits.

Once he was born, I just dedicated myself to better eating habits along with walks on the treadmill 5 times a week. It's a slow process, but it works. Set the treadmill to around 3.5 speed, which is just around brisk walk, and set the incline to 10-12ish, where ever you're comfortable.

30-35 minutes at a time, 5 times a week. That's really it.

I'm around a solid 220ish now. Firmly in "dad bod" zone, but at 45 years old, and the schedule I have, that's probably as good as it's going to get. LOL

I was set till you hit me with Eminem. That was a bit of a right turn.

If you a big Smiths/Morrisey fan, give The Housemartins a listen, or The Growlers.

I suggest those with a caveat. I do not particularly like The Smiths, but a friend of mine is obsessed with them, and she always raves about those two bands being the closest thing to them.

Not like they used to, that's all I'm saying bros.

You don't think it's "As good as it used to be" because you have no sentimental attachment to the music that is being released today.

It's been written about hundreds of times. The music of our youth makes us think of our youth. You attach the music to a simpler time. You have no fondness to today's music, even if it's in a similar genre to what you used to listen to, because as you get older you don't relate it to life events like you did when you were younger.

So you don't even bother to seek out anything new, because you rather the comfort of your "youth music" and how it makes you feel.

If by "music" you mean bands and artists that actually use instruments, no.

But if by "music" you mean corporations who slap a pretty face on top of shitty upbeat computer sounds stapled together in a formulaic manipulation of contrived pseudo-excitement, then yes, there's never been more of it.
What music is available, and what music is popular are two VERY different things.

People's unwillingness to search out quality music and just listen to the stuff from "the good ole days" is why there's 10 radio stations with 8 of them playing the same 50 songs they've played since 1995.
