Interesting, Nintendo Europe is expected to release a gameplay showcase of TotK on Wednesday. And apparently on Thursday there's an Armored Core 6 trailer/showcase and the release date will be announced.

I need to get those. I unfortunately could never find Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube way back then so never tried the series.

The first one is pretty good, fun combat, nice atmosphere, but it's pretty short. Only a couple hours long. It's basically a tech demo for the Gamecube.

Dark Moon is longer, split up across multiple locations, each location has a number of standalone missions. There's not really any free roaming exploration of the mansions, you can only go to rooms that the mission allows you to go to. But this game is where the Luigi's Mansion aesthetic and character and art design really came into it's own.

3 is good, a lot of variation in the locations and level design. Lots of charm and Nintendo polish. Pretty long too, when I played yesterday my completed file from a few years ago was over 12 hours. My biggest gripe with this game is how simplistic the combat is. After a while all of the combat encounters feel the same.

Overall the series is worth checking out. I'd say Dark Moon is the weakest of the bunch, but it's still worth playing if you can find it. I never played the 3DS remake of Luigi's Mansion though, so I can't really speak for that version. Hopefully if they make LM4, they make the combat more varied.

Yeah I played through 4 worlds in NSMBU and said "this isn't fun, fuck this." and popped Luigi's Mansion 3 in and had a blast. Combat is a bit iffy, but this game is just oozing with Nintendo charm and atmosphere.

Fun fact, the death penalty actually does not work as a deterrent for crime. Decades of crime data show that it does not reduce crime rate by any measure.

Yeah I've never been able to get into Starbound. I just played through the Calamity Mod for Terraria and loved it. Adds tons of new bosses and thousands of new weapons and items and rebalances ore progression and adds new tiers of ores after certain bosses are defeated. And the music is lit.

Yeah playing New Super Mario Bros U, first time in like ten years. Yeah idk that I like this game. It just feels so inoffensively, perfectly and scientifically designed that it just feels boring. Idk how to describe it other than that. Like it was designed by committee to be fun, so it ends up just feeling derivative.

Yeah the slime farm works better than ever. I afked for another 7 hours. My storage system was overflowing. it has never done that before, usually for the same amount of time it's barely half full. So I must have missed something when I initially built it. I have 3 shulkers of slime blocks now, which is more than I'll ever need. I think tomorrow I'm gonna breed a bunch of bees and make an automatic honey and honeycomb farm.

Oh so what PointCrow did is he commissioned someone to make a multiplayer mod for BotW, which you cannot do that. That is such a blatant breach of the software license, that Nintendo has to step in. The fact they just claimed his videos and didnt sue him, he got off easy.

Been playing some Switch games in my backlog, or just to replay. Mostly Mario games. I 100% completed Mario 3D World and Bowsers Fury. Finally played Captain Toad, almost done with that one. Considering playing New Super Mario Bros. U or Luigis Mansion 3 next.

Sometime this decade we are going to see a supreme court case so disastrous, it will be our generation's Dred Scott decision and tear the country in half. It's inevitable at this point.

Red states are in the a race to the bottom. And they're going to try to force this crap on everyone else.

No idea what happened but my Slime farm broke. I got a lot of slimeballs from my afk session, but I noticed there were also other mob drops in the storage system, and I was like "huh???" so I went inside. there were a ton of skeletons, zombies, creepers, and endermen inside. not sure how that happened but now I have to get more brown mushrooms to replace the ones the endermen picked up, and I need to build a new iron golem in the center to replace the one that died. must have happened within the past hour or something because the storage system had just as many slimeballs as it had yesterday. Guess I need to place more light sources across the swamp to prevent endermen spawns.

So the rumor come out, Switch successor will be out end of this year/early next year. Will be backwards compatible with Switch games, certain games like TotK/Splatoon 3/next Mario/Pokemon will get free graphics and performance patches on launch. I've actually been hearing these rumors of a backwards compatible successor for like 6 or 7 months. I think if it was coming within the next year, Nintendo's announcement window is coming to a close pretty soon, so we'll see what happens.
