With the way Gen 9 is designed its very easy to bump into trainers way above your level range. I actually got wiped by a random trainer battle. I cant even remember the last time that happened to me in a Pokmon game

I liked it, but I didnt love it. I think after episode 7, where the copycat dies and the two detectives resign, the series takes pretty big dip in quality. The episode immediately after, the suicide pact episode, is just bad.

I think the show just gets a little too silly near the end. I understand that Lil Slugger isnt real. Hes essentially a get out of jail free card for people trying to run away from their problems. I like that. Thats a great concept. What I didnt like was the younger detective becoming a literal superhero. That shit was goofy. The fact that Lil Slugger becomes an actual giant blob that destroys the entire city was a bit too much for me as well. I liked it better with him being an abstract concept, not an actual physical force capable of real damage.

I really just enjoyed the first half of the series more. The story felt more grounded and it seemed like a genuine look at mental illness. Then the series becomes a little too full of itself and goes off the rails. Still a good show overall though.

Id probably say 7/10

Nah, it's not greed, it's annoying. Some people legitimately can't have salt on their food because they have blood pressure issues. So when someone asked for no salt, we had to remove all of the fries that are currently there (by scooping them into small/medium/large containers) and then cleaned out the entire metal bin, and the scoop, to make sure there's no leftover salt. Then we drop a new batch of fries.

Look at how much salt there is on the scoop/bin. We have to completely clean that. If someone makes us do that during a big rush and then they salt it anyway... Yeah, that's annoying as hell. Just say you want them fresh, so they don't have to do all of the extra steps.

Im talking around 12 episodes or so. Shows that tell a concise story. I just finished Death Parade and loved it.

Its sad that Chuck was both right and wrong about Jimmy when he said hed never change. Even in his days as Gene, Jimmy ultimately cant resist the temptation to slip back into his conman ways. However, at the same time Chuck would never allow Jimmy to change. Even when Jimmy really tried to follow the straight and narrow Chuck held him back every step of the way.

I think deep down Chuck never wanted Jimmy to change at all. Chuck prided himself on being the superior McGill brother, so he was happiest when Jimmy was down in the mud where he belonged. But when Jimmy dared to rise to Chucks station? Oh no, not allowed. Its no coincidence his mental illness started right when Jimmy became a lawyer.

The whole relationship between the brothers is so fascinating and really made the show for me

What a wild ride. I gotta say, I think I enjoyed it more than Breaking Bad, but thats more because I really got into the lawyer stuff of the earlier seasons. I can see why people would find it boring though.

Its sad to think that if Chuck had just supported Jimmy even a little in his legal career he may have never become Saul. I think he genuinely was trying to turn his life around at first, but that betrayal stung too hard. Chucks pride would never allow him to see Jimmy as an equal, and that was what really killed their relationship.

Damn what a great show.

What he did to Sumire is a prime example of how he doesnt actually know whats best for anyone. Sumire had an inferiority complex when compared to her sister topped off with survivors guilt over Kasumis death. Rather than help Sumire address her inferiority complex and forgive herself for her sisters tragic demise, he simply erases her completely and turns her into Kasumi. Sure, Sumire consented to it, but she was way too young and emotionally vulnerable to fully comprehend what she was doing.

And when she learned the truth about who she really was? It only added MORE trauma to what was already there. Maruki did nothing to help her. He only made her situation worse in every way. He had no interest in helping her grow and mature as a person. His solution was to basically put a cheap bandage on top of her trauma and consider it healed.

Sumire was just a microcosm of what he did to society as a whole.

When I was 16 and still attending church our youth group had a big group outing at a lake. There was a girl I had a huge crush on and we spent most of the day together. At some point we ended up swimming quite a long distance. I wasnt a strong swimmer but I was trying to show off. The next day my legs were so sore I could barely move. She ended up moving away, but that day at the lake is a nice memory.

He was in the wrong, though his intentions were good. Forcing people to live in a reality you deem best for them without their consent is wrong. Sure, you could argue that some people were happier, but at the end of the day Maruki doesnt have the right to decide whats best for everyone.

Are these the blurays that have dvd quality to fit the whole series in a cheap package?

Its a great game, but I feel like The Complete Saga is a better game overall
