I didn't see your modded posts but maybe you said something too inflammatory, I know I get the most mods when I get the most heated and insulting. I like ya, but careful, it's better to take it down a notch as opposed to up a notch. Doubt anyone's stalking you, but you'll just get modded more if you keep railing on it.

Didn't have much choice in the matter. Been on my own since 16/17. Grew up in Massachusetts. My father bailed on the fam when I was a baby. Mom died when I was 13. Bounced around different family and friends for a few years, living with whoever would put up with my teenage rage for however long they could. Ended up in Colorado with my brother and his father. They up and moved on me so I stayed behind on my own to finish high school. I was homeless for a short bit but got a room in a drug dealer's basement then joined the Army.

Give yourself a solid 6 months to a year on your own. Visit your parents as much as you need in that time. If you don't adjust to enjoy being in your own space by the end of that stretch of time, talk to your parents about moving back in.

I'm in mom and dad's house at 31 presently. I moved out at 19 for a year, came back to mom + dad for a year, then was out of home for most of my 20s (save for just under a year @ 26 when mom had breast cancer).

Sounds like you have a good relationship with your parents, so it makes sense that you're feeling it. I really wanted to 'get away' regardless of expense by 19, so I'm more the type that enjoyed the distance from them. I find my mother to be a rather intrusive and immature person. I'm better at dealing with them on a personal level at this point though, so living at home to pay off my school loan just makes sense.

Are they close enough to visit? It's good that you have a friend in the complex, definitely put time and effort into that! Hope you make some friends around there too that bring you some solace.

You should really try Zero Mission. It's excellent. As far as remakes of 2, AM2R is the best.

Only bone to pick with this ranking is Hunters not being at the bottom. Loved the multiplayer, found the single player to be a miserable experience. Prime 3 might've been too easy, but it was still fun. Hunters was a snooze.

I don't concede much on my views but I admit when I flat out make inconsistent or false claims.

I don't mind people actually making big personality changes for the positive. I've seen a few guys that used to blame women for everything actually make some changes in their lives and realize that they're just whiny assholes.

I was burnt on the Harry Potter franchise back before JK Rowling started being an ass. The 7th book was garbage, along with every movie after the 2nd. The 7th movie was the last one I watched and I didn't want to watch the last one. I thought the entire franchise was a whole bunch of schlock by 2010, so I don't really care about any of the new games. The lore is a fucking mess along with every part of the extended universe. They're trying to expand a poorly written children's book.

I've taken mental health days off recently due to pretty heavy depression. But I've only taken 2 of those in my entire life. It's probably a better idea to look into counseling than to take sleeping pills and sleep the day away.

funniest screwup I had about a year ago with a friend...drive-thru gave him pancakes with two forks, no knife. it was super early in the morning, so we went back through and told her nicely. she acted shocked. we showed her the two forks and she slapped her forehead, and said "OH NO!!!". Then she gave us a handful of knives.

If they were lesser crimes I'd agree and just say they're at a low point in life, but all these are murderers and sick people.

I did feel bad for one 15 year old who killed his mother in a state of psychosis and was obviously very mentally ill. I was hoping he'd get treatment but he just got 71 years because he was insanely creepy and botched his court testimonies. Kind of crazy when another perfectly sane murderer only got 15 because he took a plea deal.

Yeah, I should clarify that I don't view it as bad that people watch them. I still read a lot of horrible murder stories in the news - I just prefer reading the stuff to get it over with quicker lol. Still feel for the victims.
