Would I be able to just jump into Season 3 or do I have to watch it from the beginning?

At the start, when David had Troy Baker go get medicine, he said it was like a 4 mile walk back and it took him a couple hours to get back. But later, after David carries Ellie back and she regains consciousness, it cuts to his goons and they're still looking for Joel. I know 4 miles shouldn't take super long to walk, but it still felt off, even if his goons had been searching for at least a couple hours straight. And then Joel is able to tie people up, interrogate them, and limp over to David's all while Ellie's stuff is taking place.

I guess it balances out with the previous episodes going out of their way to showcase Joel and Ellie go weeks/months before reaching the next plot point

Whatever Japan does

1. It being legal to drink alcohol outside or in public places, so long as you are not behaving in a disorderly way
2. Electric kettles that can boil water quickly, rather than using the stove or a microwave
3. Wait staff are paid a higher minimum wage that means you are not expected to tip them
4. Using the metric system for all measures
5. Sales tax is included in the price of items on store shelves, so the price displayed is the same as you pay at the checkout
6. All areas in a town or city are accessible by sidewalks, making it easier to walk anywhere
7. If a home has washers and/or dryers, they are kept in the kitchen or bathroom rather than a utility room
8. Having the legal age at which someone can buy and drink alcohol set at 18
9. The government calculating your tax and automatically deducting it from every paycheck, meaning employees don't have to fill in tax returns every year
10. Not having gaps down the sides of toilet stall doors that mean the person inside the stall can be seen from outside
11. Much greater use of traffic circles or roundabouts instead of traffic-light
12. Not having prescription-drug advertisements on TV
13. A national minimum paid-vacation allowance, on top of federal holidays
14. Being able to easily send people money directly from your bank account to theirs using your bank's website or app, rather than using payment apps like Venmo or writing checks
15. Smaller portion sizes at restaurants and fast-food outlets
16. Using a bidet to clean yourself after having used the toilet

And those essentials are going far more towards funding their atrocities than whatever money they'd get from Nintendo.

Might as well stop buying everything because they have their fingers in practically every pie in existence. You can name any publicly-traded company, and they likely have invested in it already. If it bothers you that much, maybe you ought to consider living up in the mountains and farm/forage/hunt for your own food.

And I'll say the same thing again. If this, or their connections to WWE or anything else really bother you that much I really hope you're willing to live a plastic free life. Actually not only plastic, but anything that uses petroleum based products period. Not to mention all the other ventures they have invested in. You would literally have to live a life of complete isolation in the woods to not be directly supporting any SA funded endeavor at this point. Oil and natural gas is used in so many more things/proceses/supply chains than the common pea brain can comprehend.
