I had a flamethrower burger a few weeks ago. That's the only food I would bother with from DQ, and not very often because I have to track one down that actually sells the full menu in the first place

FF7Remake stagger concerned me too, cuz everything looked like sponges, but then you play it and everything has a resonable amount of hp, and you can dispatch enemies rather quickly in numorous ways.

Yeah that's why I'm not overly concerned about it, I'm sure once you get deep enough in the game you can start wiping things out pretty effectively

My main point of contention about the combat they've showed so far is that the feedback (sounds, enemy reactions to getting hit, etc.) seems weak.

Also all the enemies seem like damage sponges, but I assume there's some kind of stagger system to offset that.

What happened

There's a whodunnit mystery about who's killing some rich socialite assholes that Joe has found himself hanging out with. Joe was getting blackmailed/manipulated by the killer thru some anonymous phone app to do various bad shit. Joe eventually figured out that the killer was another rich guy in the circle that was running for mayor that Joe has gotten to know. Then there's a double twist that Joe snapped at some point and that he was the one killing everyone the whole time and he imagined having convos with the mayor guy.

There's more to it but that's the basic gist.

Eh I actually found it entertaining. But this shit in part 2, stupid. Guess they really wanted to end this show to write it into the drain like this. Surprised there will be a final season 5.

I can only imagine that twist was put in there to stop people from rooting for Joe, but I also hate when plotlines like that happen, and it always feels random as fuck and unearned

I mean maneuvering around to get better positions to shoot has been a staple of the series from jump so I don't get what's different.

I will admit though that I didn't like the Salazar boss fight at all, he seemed to move a little too quick to get good shots, but once I reverted to primarily using the Red9 to hit him he went down easy enough

I honestly thought that was a Doja Cat song for the longest up until recently. Finding out it was Coi Leray explained why it was so exceptionally terrible

I didn't think it was too difficult to finish. It might have been to difficult to 100% (or whatever the highest % that game goes to) but just straight up beating it? I thought the levels were fair as far as clearing them goes.

This is true, but a huge appeal of the games is doing completionist runs, without that they kind of lose their luster in a sense, at least that's how I felt about 4. I decided pretty early on that I wasn't gonna bother getting all the boxes and the fun just felt kind of sucked out at that point.

Plus the other characters were so unfun that I stopped playing their levels entirely

While the controls are generally good, there were some moments where I felt like I lost control of Leon. Especially when doing the quick turn. I would do that strategy where you run down a long distance, then quick turn, stand your ground and fire at charging enemies. Only when I quick turned, Leon turns and then lunges forward, getting me into trouble. It just feels different. Off from the original.

By default Leon keeps running until you stop moving so that's a side effect of that. Apparently there's an option to turn the run button from toggle to hold, that may fix that issue.

Also apparently there's a hard mode that just randomly unlocks at some point when you start a new run

I love that the movement speed is so much faster. I did get hit multiple times though because I kept pressing the A button to do a quick turn out of habit.

I do like that the enemies are more aggressive. It was a necessity to balance out that you're more nimble and can move and shoot at the same time.

After chainsaw man, ends after bingo. I liked it on the first run thru. I didn't get to try a chainsaw Parry because my knife was gone by the time I got to it. It seems like there are a lot more enemies during that part, which is great

No new release date, just later this year. Doubt it's gonna be a major overall or anything, maybe they'll remove the always online elements or something

Great episode, series has been outstanding so far. Still have no idea why she is immune.

I believe they kinda yada yada an explanation at the end. But the why isn't really important to it overall. Kinda like how they never explained how the outbreak started in the walking dead. Or in the original game IIRC, at least not overtly.

On my most recent playthrough that's where I stopped. That and a combination of my map being bugged out so that it makes it scroll extremely slow was just too annoying to deal with.

And it's worse in the second game? I only played through that once when it first came out so I forgot there was an item hunt in that one too

This was probably the most 1:1 episode of the season, I'm surprised.

The slight weak spot for me was David's actor, but Nolan North did such a good job in the game I think I'm just being harsh

Tenkaichi was the game that knocked me out of DBZ games until Fighterz came out so no thanks. Good on people that are excited. Also doesn't 3 still get DLC on a regular basis?

I've only played Turok 2 as a kid and never beat it, always used the level skip which I think got you an incomplete ending? I remember thinking it was underwhelming and maybe that was why.

Didn't the remaster add features to make it harder to get lost? Like an objective marker or something?

I feel like from the start of the game to finishing the intro bunker was probably like 4-5 hours. We did it in 2 streams whatever it ended up being.

Damn, reading that makes me not want to go back to it because I was like an hour in and it felt so boring. It'll go into the backlog for now since I've started Wo Long and will be playing RE 4 at the end of the month

I played it back on release and also restarted it on gamepass a while back but never finished it either time. It's related to the dustbin of my backlog now. I enjoyed it though the combat isn't deep enough for my liking

Already got it installed thru game pass and will play it tomorrow. The only thing that worries me is the loot component. It was annoying in Nioh to the point where it made me stop playing, and from what I've read it's just as bad here
