I wondered briefly if it was historically accurate or not when I heard some people claiming it wasn't but then I read another thing claiming her genealogy and appearance are actually in question so I decided I didn't actually care.

I do obviously, it's why I made this topic.

Are they at all like the old tv show or are they just louder and more destructive? I like that in an action movie as much as the next guy, but it's not Mission Impossible to me.

I stopped watching after the first one because they did my boy Jim Phelps dirty. And there was more of a focus on wild action scenes than clever schemes. Yet I'm sure now everyone associated MI with said wild action scenes instead of the preplanned schemes that often go off without a hitch due to their on the spot professional work.

Also all the games were lame redemption games. Yeah, there were always some of those but they had a ton of real games back in the day.

I think the chuck e I went to as a kid was a lot like this in some ways, the album covers and all were really a trip.. but mine was even weirder. Like purple felt walls in the stage area, little tunnels where kids could crawl behind the stage... lots of wood paneling. I guess this one must have been a 90's chuck e cheese or late 80's while my memories are early 80's chuck e...

It definitely seems like he's more happy being a producer or just someone who can oversee production of a tv show based on something he already wrote more than writing new material.

Well if you have a favorite season of Power Rangers you could try that, though they haven't released anything past SPD yet. Other then that I'm honestly not sure I only bought them because I'm a Power Rangers fanboy. For nostalgia purposes.

Funny you should mention that, we've been collecting those. So far we have Lightspeed Rescue through Dino Thunder. We are still watching Time Force (or rewatching considering we saw it on tv when we were kids) but future releases in that line are definitely getting purchased.

I was thinking of getting some more stuff that's the Japanese versions although I'm not sure where to start there. We have watched Kamen Rider W and are currently watching Kamen Rider Kuuga which they have a nice bluray set of. Also it seems like it is on sale for a nice price too. . but mostly I was wondering what super sentai shows would be recommended as I haven't seen any of the Japanese originals of those.

My favorite season of power rangers I've seen so far is actually RPM though.
