As someone who does work at Walmart. Nobody in here actually has any idea what they're talking about.

Walmart opened way too many stores and many of these stores are dumpster fires. So, Walmart is closing stores that are high shrink/poor sales. Believe it or not in big cities Walmart struggles to keep up with other stores. Combine that with high shrink and your store is costing them money.

I'm a Walmart Asset Protection Associate. Legally she stole. The likely story is the father when confronted got mad and started a fight. They were thereby banned from the store.

I always get the same BS excuse "I can pay for it now!" Sure, if you did why steal? And this isn't an overreaction. You steal from Walmart and you aren't coming back. Just go to another Walmart. Anyways, this never deters shoplifters. Often times we just let them dig their own grave. Let them steal a felony quantity and now they're fucked.

I imagine their philosophy is something like...

"If we caught you stealing once, you've probably stolen before. If we let you off the hook for stealing the first time we catch you, you'll probably steal again."

It makes more sense to tell them not to come back than it does to let them in and then devote a bunch of attention to making sure they don't steal any more stuff. It starts with candy (or maybe it didn't start there) but eventually escalates.

I worked at Target for a couple of years, and I constantly found empty toy packages hanging on the shelf. Kids would come in, open the package, drop the little Bakugan sphere into their pocket, and walk out with it. Casual as can be. It's like an $8-$10 toy, but it adds up quick if they do it multiple times.

As a Walmart AP Associate this is true. She's 12. If she was 6 ok but, she's 12 that's theft. How do you not know this at 12? A 12 year old should know right from wrong.

It was never about ethics. I was a hardcore GGer back in my youth. Hung out on IRC with many of them. It was always about feminism and minorities in the industry. We wanted Straight White dude bro characters and sexy women. Anything else was SJW's destroying our safe place.

We used the pretense ethics in gaming to deflect any criticism. You couldn't really argue as we would ignore and deflect. We often made troll accounts on gaming forums just to stew the pot. And it worked quite well.

I think the pendulum is swinging back towards inclusivity in the gaming space. Gators have all mostly just become lonely incels or social media influencers. Most the old GG crowd I hung out with in IRC have changed views. Some are still hardcore incel alt-right lunatics but, a majority have changed and grown up.

They do not want to be open 24 hours. Walmart has no staff and no security at night. It's hard on the O/N team because they have to finish stocking and do not have time to deal with customers. Also, it's a waste of payroll to have O/n cashiers and O/N Supervisors watching them.

Dollar General is the trashiest shit I've ever seen in my life. One of the ones down here kept a display of squished up Hershey bars for several weeks. I bought one and it was white when I opened it...

The stores always look like a horrible mess too, and there's barely any room to walk down any aisles.

Tbf DG is cheap on everything especially payroll. Employees do not have the time to maintain the store.

Yeah. The only issue I had was walking around pallets/boxes blocking aisles and employees stocking shelves. They wouldn't move out of your way.

But still better than day Walmart.

Stockers are on a strict time limit. They can and will get shit canned if they don't finish the freight in the allotted time. All pallets have to be finished and any overstock have to be put way in the bins before the Store Manager gets in and does the morning tour.

Cant smell stank through onlyfans.

Wal-Mart is weird. I've learned one thing, DONT go there after maybe 8PM. In the middle of the day, sure, look for those bargains. Late at night? The weirdos come out and my Wife has been extremely uncomfortable shopping by herself at night. It was so bad at one time that she refuses to go there by herself when it's dark.

Depends on the area. Mine is safe but, you'll find no help from anyone as our GM associates simply do not exist. We have 1-2 covering electronics and that's it. They're shocked when we get robbed. Smh.

Nope. They aren't doing a thing. They claim i could have stepped out of the way. If workers comp don't come through I'm screwed. My Coach is doing his part to get them to approve it.

Guy and his girlfriend were stealing a bunch of expensive items. Made a beeline for the front doors. I intercepted. I didn't tackle. I just got in front of him to stop him. If he ran out the doors, oh well. We have cameras. I'd get a license plate and Police'd get him later.

As I said i stepped in front. He kicks me right smack in the knee with a steel toe boot. I go down. Police get called, along with an Ambulance.

Nope. My job is asset protection. I'm granted permission to lay hands on a shop lifter.

I work as an AP associate @ Walmart. I was involved in an accident at work. I attempted to stop a guy. He kicked me with steel toe boots in the knee. Got sent to the hospital. Guess what? My ambulance ride cost me $8k because it was "out of network". The hospital stay will cost me $30k. My insurance isn't playing ball. They aren't going to cover me for something they say "Is my fault".

God, I love America. After extensive heated talks I got it "brought down" to $14k. Oh boy.

Most of his dating advice is actually pretty good. It is typically about self improvement techniques. I am unaware of any political leanings about him because I generally have only seen him post things to help people on the sex board.
