Quick question, what would your less clunky, less lazy suggestion be to encourage using a wide variety of weapons and engaging with the Fuse system?

I dunno what the Fuse system is, I haven't watched this new stuff. Also, I'm not claiming to have a magic solution available, sorry.

The normal things for encouraging weapon diversity are positioning/quirks with weapons via movesets & special attacks, and "resistances". Even Dynasty Warriors of all things has (had? idk newest) resistances to encourage weapon swapping and thinking about which weapons you bring into combat (as you can only take 2). Heck, the game already has this stuff with elemental interactions and wood/metal, no, along with some move-set differences (their relevance, however...?)

Stuff breaking frequently is a way to make you change weapons which might make your moveset change, but it feels worse to many because it literally forces you to do it as you are now weapon-less.
People saying "weapons are everywhere" makes me wonder why the mechanic even exists then - if it provides no stress to your ability to play, why does it exist? What are you getting out of it? If your defense of the mechanic is "don't worry, it's literally irrelevant" - why not just have permanent weapons? Doesn't make sense to me, tbh. Is it just to make the beginning feel bad? Then they could just make sticks a uniquely breakable item until you get a real piece of gear.

I quickly googled "Fuse" and it seems like it's just smashing objects together to make a new weapon, presumably also repairing them? The first part of that sounds interesting, the second part doesn't seem like it's necessary for...more or less all of the above.
A lot of this basically speaks to "they want people constantly feeling like they are getting new things", which ok seems like they want to enhance fun which is a good goal, but it obviously has costs, and for...what? Gaining the equivalent of pressing a button constantly hoping for a differently shiny pellet, until you have so many you start telling people it's irrelevant?

Durability is a clunky and embarrassingly lazy way to "force" weapon swapping, surprised they bothered to keep it in.

Yeah. It seems he should go "free" on the murders, go to jail for the financial crimes, and then we're stuck not knowing definitively enough who actually killed his family - and I'd give it decent enough odds it was somebody else, so we're going to lose out on them coming to justice.

From what my friend, watching it pretty closely, says, it doesn't seem beyond reasonable doubt he killed anybody and indeed seems like a bunch of other people had motive to kill these people (say, all those people he did financial crimes on)
And then the prosecution is just talking a bunch about financial crimes to...make him look bad? Doesn't mean he killed his family.

I haven't actually watched Sterling's videos much either lately tbh, but that was already starting at the coming out video - because I didn't even watch that when it released and found out after the fact.
Same reason as a lot are saying - (whiny) negativity, the act got too tiresome (I could tolerate it at first for sake of the other stuff, but...), and also just about games I don't care about.

Are we assuming the hormones etc all produce no effect on the mind? That they have essentially a developed prefrontal cortex still, despite...physically not? If these things don't matter, then it'd be immoral - you'd literally just be an adult in a developing body. If these elements still did change you, I guess it'd depend on some more stuff, and you might just end up as...I dunno, a 13 year old that seems a bit calmer and wiser.
