I feel like the overall direction of the original Resident Evil 4 was better. It seems like they elongated a lot of the sections to artificially pad the length of the game, but other than that and graphical improvements, I don't think it's superior to the original from what I've seen.

I was going to say, I don't remember the Snow White ride being scary at all, it was just some lame mine car type roller coaster thing.

Of course, my parents were also poor so I didn't get the chance to go to Disney world until a few years ago when I was in my 20s and paid to go myself, and by then the ride you're describing was already gone.

I mean, Maverick at Cedar Point is one of my favorite roller coasters, and it only goes about 70 mph. It's still a very thrilling ride because of its design.

I'm literally pooping on the toilet that is not my own right now.

I worked as an intern for a company that had a costumed mascot. While I was there, the person who was usually the mascot was unavailable, and they were looking for someone to fill in. The pay was almost double my usual intern hourly pay (which was already pretty good for an internship 10 years ago), and I only had to be in the suit for half an hour at a time.

As far as they told me, there's a mascot workers union, which sets these standards. So mascot workers don't have it too bad. I had a lot of fun and was paid well.

I used to listen to the local radio stations on my way to work back when I didn't have an unlimited data plan (like 2014-2015ih).

Since then though, nah.

I would never tell anyone where I currently work that Im interviewing or even looking elsewhere. If that gets back to HR some companies will straight fire you for it.

Which is honestly complete BS. Most countries (other than the USA) have laws that prevent employers from doing this.

I've yetv to see a new Xbox in person, but at least half of my friends have ps5's, and many also have switches.

Yeah, I've rewatched some 2000's comedy movies in the last few months, and most of it does not hold up well.

I remember in high school we thought they shit was the funniest stuff ever.

Dodgeball is still funny though (mostly).

Probably would have been Resistance 2, I loved that game. Played it until they shut the servers off in 2014.

If this does end up being implemented, I feel like it's going to need a butt ton of regulation so employers don't abuse it. And even then, they still will.

I went to a film festival once where the actors who were in the movie were actually in the theater watching the movie with us. I felt like it was appropriate to clap after that one, but otherwise, nah.

I haven't heard anything about the PS5 having an abnormally high failure rate, unlike the 360, and to a lesser extent, the PS3.

It would seem to me that you were either just unlucky or there's something wrong with the way you are using your console. Are you modding it? Is it kept in a poorly ventilated or hot area? Have you been playing kickball with it?

Anyway, back on topic, RIP Kevin Conroy. He was a true legend, and the best Batman voice, both live action and in animation. I just watched The Killing Joke in his honor. It wasn't very good.

I wouldn't say it sucked, but it was quite lackluster. When you have a remake that is 2 generations removed and has superior tech like this, but it isn't definitively better, you got problems.

Sure, he did ToD and QfB but it was really the PS2's style that captured the unique spirit of the games.

I actually completely agree. I don't know who David Bergeaud is, but the first 3 were definitely was the best 3, while ToD & QfB were also very good.

I haven't bought a ratchet game since Crack in Time though.

Edit: No wait, I got the remake of the first game as a gift and beat it a few years ago. What are they doing with that? Anyway? Are they remaking the original trilogy? Did they pick up at what point on the continuity with the new ones?

It's not animal products, it's high fat, highly processed animal products, particularly high saturated fat intake that leads to what you are talking about.

Lean meats, fish, eggs, dairy, etc. are not correlated with what you're talking about.

And also, I would question the notion that eating protein increases your blood creatine level in a negative way. People who eat very high protein diets may have slightly elevated blood creatine levels, but this is not correlated with any negative health outcomes. It's just that their reference range is slightly higher. Your doctor should know this.

I like most stuff, but I'm generally not a big fan of most soul music. Most of it is just too slow and unexciting for me.

Never had any student loan debt, because I:

- Went to a community college for the first 2 years.
- Applied for all the grants & scholarships I could find.
- Lived with my parents and commuted to school.
- Worked 1-2 jobs throughout most of my college life.

I never had my credit card debt because I just don't buy things I can't afford, unless they're very large, like a home, or a car. In which case, I get loans specifically for that.
