Topic | WTF at the Bills game |
Goldenguy 01/02/23 10:15:46 PM #94 | The hit appears to have knocked him into an arrhythmia which is probably what led to his subsequent collapse. Was able to get up while his brain was still oxygenated. I wouldn't call that an insane hit, but if it just happened at the right time, or if he's been playing with thicker than normal ventricular walls, it's entirely possible to happen. I'm not surprised at the critical condition label. Guy needed 9+ minutes of CPR and AED to get a rhythm to return. Hopefully the overall response was fast enough that he, for one, can survive, and for two, has little or no long term issues in said case. At any rate, hopefully he can achieve a full recovery. --- Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand. Ignorance, prejudice, and fear walk hand in hand. |

Topic | In your opinion, where should one be in their life at age 35? |
Goldenguy 10/23/22 1:13:16 PM #27 | Wherever the heck one wants to be at 35. I would hope by 35 some degree of self sufficiency is attained, even if it's a cohabitative situation where you have a job and contribute to rent or whatnot. Family, career, hobbies.. that's all subjective. --- Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand. Ignorance, prejudice, and fear walk hand in hand. |

I'm not sure my dad ever knew but my mom is more or less aware. My choice, and I'd assume the same choice of numerous others, came from not wanting to impart extra stress on them. --- Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand.
