Hinakuluiau 04/14/23 5:46:43 PM #58 | [LFAQs-redacted-quote] Not intending to shame I mean that I've been out of college for almost a decade, I'm not interested in dating someone who is in college even if they're my age cause we're at totally different points of life. So the inverse is true as well, someone who is a late bloomer has more in common with classmates even if they're 5+ years older than someone who is focused on their careers instead of passing exams --- There are some things where I just bypass critical thinking. - ROD |

Hinakuluiau 03/26/23 5:59:08 PM #209 | SorakhII posted... Though there are obviously questions here. If the cab driver really saw assault, why didnt s/he stop the car to deescalate, refuse service, and or report the assault to police (whatever is the taxi protocol in situations like this)? The cab driver seemingly continued driving Majors as if nothing significant happened. Or why did she wait until the next morning call 911 and go to the hospital for examination, instead of immediately during or after the incident had occurred? So, what we know to have transpired doesnt add up if there really was an assaultPeople are not robots who think clearly while under stress. Most recent one I've seen is with No Way Home regarding the appearances of past actors. For instance with these two, TDK is elevated from a good movie into one of the best CBMs because of the Joker. It's worth talking about how it turned an otherwise decent movie into a movie that still holds up 15 years later. NWH goes from your bog standard comic flick to a decent one that relies on nostalgia. It's worth talking about how it's not that good of a movie without those things and only barely counts as the best of Phase 4 due to the guest characters being so well done. --- There are some things where I just bypass critical thinking. - ROD |
