I understand what the celebrities are saying. This is some backhanded shit. At the same time, every company has been trying to monetize everything the past year. It's scummy behavior, but most of us have had to pay up. So celebrities can too.

The thefts and stuff just exacerbated the losses and they left.

Like you said, this is Disney. You don't think they would know of any potential other victims coming forward before the story broke? You think they'd risk the bad publicity for one second longer than necessary? They may let him go but I doubt they do or reshoot unless the charges stick.

The whole thing has all been newly developing the past day or two and the backlash from people just started for the multiple victims/Disney employee part. It's 10 PM and Twitter and Reddit are going insane with the new info.

I think it's way too soon to say they're not going scrap him from Loki too just because they haven't reacted already.

Everybody dropped him already. Disney is gonna look horrible holding the bag with him. This is Disney. Not WBD, who has a reputation for shit like that.

They also don't have to announce anything till they've reshot the show. And there were already rumors from 2 weeks ago that they might be doing reshoots.

I mean, it just came out there's possibly multiple victims and the original one worked for the crew for Quantumania.

There's no way Disney is releasing Loki with any sign of Majors in it.

This was a pretty good, jam packed episode. Lots of great scenes. Gideon seemed like a giant idiot by the end though.

I'm glad Mandalore is back and I think overall, it was a good mission. I like that Din and Grogu are about to be on their own again.

I didn't really like how the episode got resolved part way in and they had that weird ending. It always comes off weird when shows try to wrap things up and then rush in an epilogue.

Lol, Kang will always have the stink of Majors. They're not gonna potentially fuck with that when they have so many bigger villains they recently acquired. Especially after that lackluster Quantumania.

We probably won't see him again after Loki season 2.

I dont have the link, but there was some interview where Grogu was mentioned as being 89 or so in the new Rey sequel(s). I think there was some more that I dont remember. I would lean in the highly implied camp because I think those stories arent written yet and this person was just speculating.

I think I found it but it was Favreau confirming he's 53 now currently and the interviewer just saying he would be about 89 by Episode 10.

They were still just chilling in a cave doing nothing about it. It wasn't until they agreed to live on Nevarro that they suddenly changed their mind. Obviously they had plans to retake it eventually, but it was a sudden bafflingly timed decision to do it at that moment.

It would've made just as much sense for them to establish a base first, then send the main cast to find the forge. Which would've led to same outcome. If the Armorer and Bo's group wanted to go scout the planet themselves to find the forge and living waters, etc. There was no reason at all to bring everyone at once just because the air isn't deadly. It's still made of glass, and full of monsters... Which they don't exactly have a good record at surviving. The cities are destroyed and there was some kind of eyeball robot creature that nearly took out Din. It's still a very dangerous place, and they didn't even know where anything was. But sure, instead of having a nearby safe haven just bring everybody on over.

Edit: I suppose it could've been Jack Black's character that offered to recognize Mandalore again that pushed them. But it just felt odd that they agreed to settle Nevarro just to skip out immediately for no actual given reason.

Wait, I might have missed this, but when did they say that everybody came? I thought they were taking volunteers and a lot volunteered. But I don't remember them taking everybody. I think there were still people left on Navarro like the children.

Also, this could simply all have to do with some ulterior motives from the Armorer. So you're right, it's a bit suspicious so fast, but it also makes sense.

I think wanting to retake Mandalore ASAP made sense. They didn't know it was still breathable till just a bit ago, then they quickly assembled and went for it.

Regardless, the Armorer leaving and then her approach to the rest of the fleet seemed super suspicious. Like one of those "letting the guard down for a friendly and then a battalion of TIEs attack" moments. At this point, she has to be the spy.

Also, I think the Palpatine stuff is fine tbh. It was one of the bigger post-RotJ things in the EU.

The thing is that Palpatine is alive right now. His body is rotting away. Hux and everybody there are probably being led to believe he can bring Palpatine back to life. Probably only Thrawn knows Palpatine is still alive.

I thought it was pretty clear that Gideon wants to take control and shit like Thrawn and Palpatine don't help him and will hinder things. Hux likely needed Pershing's data, but now it's destroyed basically.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 is over a decade old now. Philosopher's Stone is 20. Assuming this lasts 7 seasons, the movies will be almost 30 years old by the time this is finished.>_>

I'll definitely be giving it a chance, but still, I see no reason to remake things that were already received well. It's been 40 years since the OT. Should that be remade? Remaking LotR would be similarly unnecessary. Maybe in a few more decades.

Also, I just fear it will never make it past season 2. A 7 season show seems like a highly ambitious endeavor in 2023.

The boycott was a complete mess because of things like that.
