im part of a Belgian Christmas-themed noisecore power trio called girlflesh and weve been planning a European tour for months now, booked all the venues and got all the licenses and everything. we even screenprinted some sick merch!

but right before were set to hit the road we find out Germany is banning our performance based on a video of us dressed as dreidels and slam dancing into each other that went viral. Tbh this is pretty typical for one of our shows, and I think its fucking stupid it breaks German obscenity laws. People love it. German officials are also saying our bands name is gross like theyre some fucking pc antifa morality police. So fucked and lame

small update: may have made this thread prematurely because it looks like Keven (not his real name btw just to be clear, just an alias not to dox; his real name is Alexei) may be getting sent to prison or possibly drafted to the front lines of the war because hes been trafficking krokodil to a few of the local high schools and he happened to just get arrested today. Im not saying I exposed him to the authorities to protect myself, that wouldnt be very #rebel of me, but if I did then it was for the best. Im heartbroken and all that jazz, but happy I probably dont need to worry about getting caught and deported now!!

this isnt a movie, this is my fucking LIFE!

I work as an intimacy coordinator instructor at a prestigious theater school in Russia, so basically train college-aged students on how to be intimacy coaches. As you can imagine things can get pretty steamy in that line of work and things have progressed past the point of no return with one of my students (well call him Kevin but his actual name is Alexei) and Im not sure what to do. In terms of age things are fine. Im actually younger than Kevin because Im what we call a wonderkid but as an intimacy coordinator I know that relationships with my students are a boundary not to be crossed. If I lose my job my visa could also be revoked.

What do the relationship experts here advise?

Ive been enjoying watching the post episode interviews with the directors and actors and such to get more insight into the episodes, particularly changes from the games theyve made. Ive already felt like so far any of the changes theyve made have only enriched the story, but its nice hearing the reasoning behind these choices

Ive never been a big fan of most lemon lime sodas, but I love good ginger ales/beers. Fentimans, Cock & Bull (particularly the cherry one), and Reeds (especially the Strongest one) are my favorites.

I somehow got through two or three seasons of Big Mouth before dropping it. Its very crass and the humor seems targeted at immature teenagers, not adults. Im not sure I laughed once across all the episodes I watched.

For whatever reason, Big Mouth received critical acclaim upon its release. The exact opposite of what Velma has gotten.

Its not something to apologize for. A few words of text are always going to be far from the worst thing in my day. Its a minor annoyance, not something I care deeply about. Im just genuinely curious as to why people do it and this seemed like an opportunity to ask.

Ive been out of the cast for a few months now. Sometimes my ankle gets a bit sore, which I think is now just a permanent thing, but overall it doesnt give me much trouble.

I ended up getting stitches for the first time a couple months ago after slicing my finger, so my first time breaking a bone and getting a cast and my first time getting stitches were both within a few months of each other. Fun! Thankfully I live in a country with good health care, so neither were expensive or difficult to treat

It was started as a travel guide, which it still is at its core, but it has since evolved into a symbol of prestige for the fine dining world (and beyond). I definitely understand fine dining not being everyones thing, but I got Michelin-starred ramen in Tokyo for less than $10 and there are other single-star places that you can find for cheaper around the world (not saying its common though). They also have the Bib Gourmand award which is kinda a step below the stars, but highlights restaurants that are supposed to be high quality yet still reasonably affordable. Theres also places that are just mentioned without an award, which is still considered an honor, and they tend to be on the cheaper side too. I think the world is full of great places and you dont need the Guide to direct you to good food, but I have fun exploring it whenever Im in an area that the guide covers.

I think a good introduction to better understand fine dining is most of the episodes of Chefs Table. Not every place featured is fine dining, especially in more recent seasons (like the Pizza, Dessert, and BBQ seasons), but it helped me to appreciate the craft and effort that goes into making Michelin-caliber meals. Ive been to three places featured in Chefs Table so far, one of which was the three-starred Michelin restaurant I mentioned in my previous post. And Ill probably be going to another place featured in the series while Im here in Japan.

Again, I get fine dining isnt for everyone, but the Guide does have options for most budgets as long as youre not trying to spend Taco Bell prices on every meal. (I post-gamed the three-star place with a value menu Taco Bell item btw)

Ive seen Utz in California plenty of times before, but usually at like specialty snack stores and not general places

Ive eaten at four single-starred restaurants and one three-starred restaurants. Ive lost count of how many Bib Gourmands Ive been to.

Well that sucks. My family members and I each pay for a different streaming service and share the accounts with each other. None of my family lives in the same State and I live in another country. Looks like Ill be encouraging my mom to cancel Netflix and Ill be watching their content elsewhere.
