Nobody told me that. Then what's the law? How old do you have to be to consent to sex? What's the age difference? Adults can only have sex with adults, and minors can only have sex with minors, right? But 17 is a minor, and so is 10. Which law prevents a 17 year old minor hooking up with a 10 year old minor? There are laws that prevent an 18 year old adult and 17 year old minors, though.

In a situation where you find two minors engaging in sex depends on the age and the circumstances. 17 with an 11 year old puts the 17 year old in trouble because their age puts them in a position of power and an understanding of what they're doing. The 11 year old is absolutely still a child and can't legally consent under any circumstances.

Two young children caught in that would have an investigation on the parents and/or whoever may be the aggressor if violence is involved.

Regularly until my twenties. I thought my church was okay. I just couldn't see how I belonged there or find much logic in the Bible. There are some stories in there that I like, that's about it.

I'm also surprised not many people spent more than a couple hours in church. We used to have two services occasionally. That's not including Sunday School.

I think a couple of maternity wards closed in Idaho as well.

I know I used one at the hospital during overnight stays, but it's been easily a decade since then. Only place I remember seeing them was the hospital.

Yeah the hospital and school were the last places I saw them in use. My brother brought it to my attention today at work.

I hit my breaking point a few months ago. I finally decided to use my insurance and FMLA and got some help. My friends and family have been super supportive.

I hope find the courage to get the help you need. It's not easy but opening up in a no judgment zone can be a good start.

I was friends with a guy that was disabled along with his brother while they both lived with their retired parents. At least the parents had earned their retirement, but the whole income is coming from the state.

I've asked this before, but what exactly is the end goal here? What's gonna happen when the system is flooded with unwanted babies?

My theory is that many of these unwanted babies are going to end up in "Christian" orphanages and boarding schools. The white babies are going to be higher in priority because they want to make sure that the Latino population doesn't outnumber them. It'll help preserve the decline in practicing Christians and the white demographic.
