Thanks for this, Hambo. I can count his remaining time in hours now, but I'm still nowhere close to being ready. He really was an amazing dog. I loved the way he would try to bury his food with his face before eating it.

I wasn't originally going to double dip, but that was before the bad week I've had. So, here goes. Remember when I had you draw my dog a while back? Well, he's dying. Going to be put down tomorrow in fact. It would be kinda cool to see you draw him again, but like, as more of a normal dog. It would certainly cheer me up at least. You don't have to do it if this seems too guilt trippy, I just thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

That's a pretty neat silhouette, hehe.

Saints Row 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, it's worth trying that one at least if you can get your hands on a console version.

The combat is good while fighting mobs, but the boss fights are trash, even worse than Xillia 1. There's a demo on PS4 and PC if you'd rather try before you buy.

The seasoning is pretty GOAT-tier, not gonna lie. Worth trying just for the seasoning.

The thing about God of War's highest difficulty is you do less damage while most enemies can kill you in 1 or 2 hits, and they like to level up mid fight which makes them even tougher. And most side quest encounters have such prohibitively high levels that you basically just have to put off exploration until you've made some progress with the main story. It's basically the mode where the game doesn't fuck around.

God of War was fun. Worth playing twice for certain builds you can only use in new game plus. Would not recommend hardest difficulty if it's your first playthrough because it's kind of miserable.

I remember getting a bad case of the shaky hands in the brief time I spent playing Trauma Team. Would be dope if it was released on a system that doesn't require garbage motion controls.

Slight correction, it gave you infinite weapon energy as long as you didn't charge your weapons. It was ridiculously broken.

Unironically this. Recently dropped a gacha game that I'd been playing for nearly a year and it almost feels like how I imagine kicking a drug addiction feels. Feels good to not have my schedule controlled by it anymore. What made it even more insidious imo is that it was actually really generous with its pull rates and gacha currency. Mobile games aren't worth it man, don't fuck with 'em at all.

Never watched or played any Digimon anime or game before. Still interested in trying Cyber Sleuth though because I remember hearing good things about it, and I at least think some of the designs are cool. Can I go into this with zero-minimal knowledge of the franchise? Complete Edition being 75% off on Steam right now makes it that much more tempting to just go for it.

Those guys are from X2. Basically the first 4 X games are worth playing, and X5 is where it starts getting bad. X5 is playable, don't get me wrong, it just has some questionable level design choices. Still worth playing if only for a particular fight late in the game, which has a really hype theme now that I'm reminded of it.

i've played games that came out in 2013/2014 that run worse than dmc 5 btw . hell there are even earlier games from 2005/2006 that run like slop. like ubisoft dmc 3 se port without any performance enhancing mods. that would legit run sub 60 fps in some sections whereas for dmc 5 i can run it at 4k 100+ fps.

Tbf a game running poorly on console isn't necessarily indicative of running poorly on PC. *coughRuneFactory5cough*

Inigo, once you start exploring Skyrim with the literal best follower mod you'll never go back.

Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice if you're an Ace Attorney fan, both games have a DLC case as well.

Cucumbers are bottom tier and belong in the trash. Fresh, pickled, can't stand them either way. I don't hate vegetables in general though, I just really despise cucumbers.

It's mostly just the main story that's serious. The bulk of your time will likely be spent on goofy minigames and sidequests. It's that juxtaposition of serious and silly that makes these games so magical. And 0 has one of the better stories in the franchise. Just go for it man, Yakuza games are amazing.

Now that I'm finally done buying 3DS games off of the eshop I can actually start actively saving up for Steam sales, looking forward to summer.

...Okay so I still want to buy Last Window: The Secret of Cape West at some point, but that's not a high priority yet.

And now I just picked up Dust: An Elysian Tail and Just Cause 2 because they're dummy cheap. I'm gonna be eating good until summer sale!

I just picked up Ni no Kuni 2: The Prince's Edition because some madlad set it for the same price as standard edition.

I for one would be looking forward to a Pokemon game developed by RGG Studio. Eagerly even! Although personally I think a game set in the PMD-verse would be more interesting with that particular dev team.

I'll go ahead and give a special shoutout to the castlevania: Dracula X Chronivles on the PSP. This is a remade version of Rondo of blood, and you can unlock the original Rondo of Blood and even Symphony of the Night! Damn good collection if you have a PSP (or maybe they ported it to other Sony consoles by now?)

Sadly the closest we got to that was Castlevania Requiem, which excludes the PSP remake of Rondo entirely.

Try the Guacamelee games, I enjoyed them both a lot. They both scratched that metroidvania and challenging platformer itch very well imo.

The reboot is a solid game. People just don't like change.

I legitimately just couldn't stand the reboot's gameplay. Not having a manual lock on felt so wrong after years of getting used to the classic style of gameplay. Also I thought reboot Dante was just a colossal tool with worse voice acting than any other incarnation of Dante.

Yeah the constant crashes and lack of DLC are a bit of a bummer for 2, but I bought it for 2-3 dollars and if nothing else it's fun to cause chaos while playing as an unrepentant psycho while unlocking tangible rewards from the side missions. So 3 and 4 have all the DLC and aren't crashing randomly? That's cool beans man.

I've been sleeping on this series for too long. Been playing a lot of SR2 on PC lately, even though it's a bad port it's still really fun to play. What are the least annoying to play versions of 3 and 4 though? Console or PC? Original 3 or remaster?
