Yes back in Gen 3 I think and it startled me as a kid because all of a sudden I got a new, unfamiliar message about my Pokemon getting sick. I had no idea about Pokerus at the time and kept it going until I first started EV training.

Just finished Triangle Strategy earlier this week so now I'm bouncing between Vampire Surivors(new DLC) and Last Epoch while I decide what to start next.

Yup. It was mostly my Tetris machine iirc, since by the time I got to Gen 1 Pokemon I already had a GBC.

Probably just make it my birthday, though that might also be a problem since it sometimes falls on Thanksgiving.

So the main plot and Salem stuff has been mostly ignored this season as they're not even on Remnant right now but in another world(the Ever After) created by the brother gods. Ruby's been feeling shit like pretty much the entire volume, and it was made worse when she got news of Penny's death. They learn that the Ever Afterans don't die but ascend(reincarnate) into a better version of themselves when it's time to go or drink some tea made by not-Yggdrasil's leaves. After Ruby's rant/breakdown she runs off and Neo finds her which leads to a physical/mental beatdown and Neo convinces her to drink the tea. She does this right in front of WBY+J and they have no idea at this point what it does to humans, so Ruby did effectively commit suicide from her perspective.

She's currently being reincarnated after speaking to the Blacksmith about what she wants to become. Said Blacksmith seems to make new parts for the ascended Ever Afterans before the tree is finished reincarnating them.

I think that's everything. I left out some stuff from this volume like the most recent cliffhanger and one new major character this volume.

I'll second the opinion that this latest volume is great, if only for Ruby breaking down and exploding at her team(which is where the homophobic part of the meme came from).

How does that even work? I just kinda lost interest near the end of season 8, after they announced it was going subscription exclusive, but Ruby is a major plot point. I don't see how they could kill her off, especially for something so silly as a writing issue that they're writing.

I think I found 20 Minutes Till Dawn just browsing one of the many Youtube vids about various Bullet Heaven games. That one in particular looked fun after I looked up more gameplay of it.

My hateboner for Gen VII isn't too strong. I actually enjoyed my first playthrough of Sun a lot, but USUM were meh and I quit with Dexit. Which weirdly made Sun the last time I enjoyed Pokemon. I wish I remembered more of the music, because I know I liked quite a few town themes in SM.
