1) Was it fun? This is our ultimate endgoal. The TR didn't have to be thrilling from start to finish, but did you enjoy it when all was said and done?
I had an absolutely thrilling time. I really enjoyed this game. I enjoyed thinking about mercs and reading through the new abilities and just the regular game. I will be playing again.

2) What did you most like about the Test Run overall? Any part of the game is fair to note here.
Planning who to buy and how to create my team. Very fun!

3) Likewise, what did you dislike most? Any part of the game is fair game for this, and so is our job as admins if you think we need to improve on something.
Peacetime on Monday night. It ruined the non-mercs part of my week, and also distracted me at work. Heavily pushing for Thursday night peacetime.

4) How did you feel about the new systemic changes such as AP, Bounty Hunters and others? Is there anything you feel needs to be adjusted in particular, after the already executed adjustments?
Love them. AP feels like it could become a little bit restrictive with only 3 AP in mid and late game, but I still really like it. BH, post-nerf, feels fair and now 4s and 6s are actually playable. I like reinforcements in concept a lot. AP does become a bit spammy, but it is what it is.

5) Were any mercenaries too weak for you to bother with? Likewise, do you feel any mercenaries are too strong?
Weak: Wesker, King II, Slave Knight, Sol Badguy.
Strong: Possibly Kazuma or Vivi.

6) What is the strongest merc in the unbought pool, in your opinion?
After some additional deliberation, Master Chief ;)

7) Any additional remarks you wish to make?
I think that heroes and males are slightly overrepresented and there are minimal ways to target them compared to women and villains. Please release a cheap Boko merc! Kweh!

I also think a factor helping me here is Zags access to Aphrodite dash, he can be dashing in ans inflicting weak and thej dashungnout causing chain lightning and really helping slow the enemy teams roll.

another reason V gets aggrod by Zag and engages (and likely subsequently disengages) and eventually teams up with team Batman or at least helps his team by virtue of fighting Zag.

That dash lightning gonna be a big factor making V team up against Zag

I wasnt saying V is going to pick a side, to be clear, just that its way more likely that V first engages with the team spotlighting itself and shooting lightning sprays in Vs direction.

Because it SO MUCH LIGHTNING. Lightning when he dashes. Lightning when you try to hit Zag and he dodges. Lightning when you try to hit Zag and succeed. If youve been struck by lightning and dare to attack anyone? You get struck by lightning. Lightning casts that ricochet to other nearby targets when it strikes.

immediately off of the bat, this is a match with three parties. One team will be blatantly giving away their position with massive amounts of lightning.

My interpretation is there is a much higher chance V engages with the team literally shining a spotlight hey all here we are! around itself than the team with Rika and Batman that have time loop and master level planning and strategy.

Beyond that, I think Batman can manage to wrangle his team along with Rika to overcome half health Zagreus and company after V and Zagreus engage. Remember, V is between the two teams, meaning that so much lightning will pull aggro on her before anything on Batman and Mega Man team.

I am taking requests to be the "primary" argue person for each team. I have only tagged a few people that I think would be at least somewhat knowledgeable about each team or at least 1 merc on the team. Please feel free to volunteer if you would like to! Anybody that I didn't tag can do it, though!!

if BFG man is shooting off homing rockets and giving away his location motion tracker, Spartan Laser is probably stronger than BFG is anyway and it isnt restricted to just short limited range

Ill take triple buffs and triple debuffs over whatever Tifa is dishing out

so doom slayer is simultaneously bum rushing and getting buffed makes sense

I just dont think hasted MC with radar is going to so easily be taken to close range if he doesnt want to be there.

Supplemental media Chief runs at 106 km per hour and can react to bullets and plasma shots in mid air. He dodges bullets point blank. Hes FAST and hasted

Okay while Doom Slayer bum rushes he gets shot and dies from hasted MC running away from him.

If MC and Doom trade long range shots with snipers, Squall has full life, curaga, regen.

Tifa has punching? Maybe Charka heals

Squall also has Curaga and full life to keep Chief trucking in a mid or long range fight.

Chief will be just fine keeping himself in that range with his radar + haste. For fun he has grav lift as a free escape if he needs one in the terrain

Squall gets the entire game worth of buffs and tifa gets access to the spell list in the write up, which I dont recognize any as haste or buffs?

More than enough time for Chief to be buffed.

Chief has his Mjorlnir armor so he has his mobility tracker/radar and will see any movement BFG makes trying to get into range, cover or otherwise.

He wont get snuck up on and will be buffed. Squall has serviceable long range options with triple + any aga spell and will know where to aim thanks to Chief

okay so the BFG is useful in short range. MCs (almost everything) is useful in medium and long range. I think hell be okay.

Squall has access to all buffs in FF8. Haste, protect, shell, reflect, full life, regen. MC will be buffed.

And this is book MC who can throw a sticky grenade from a football field away with precision onto a target.

is he just flirting with Cortana while BFG gets into limited effective range or possibly providing a bit of counter fire?

If BFG one shots Chief, then any combination of Chiefs one-shot in game weapons one shot Doom Slayer so thats a wash

If the BFG can one shot Master Chief and hes helpless to dodge it, why is it in this game? Chief isnt a slouch in tankiness
