It can be very overwhelming at bigger events. You'll be able to plan your days around the panels and events you want to see. When it comes to having conversation with people, you can generally strike one up with whomever you're around about the topic or thing you're all participating in. Think about how most everyone there is there for the same things you are and so the idea of wondering what to talk about shouldn't be too bad. Most importantly, have fun.
