I think you're right. It looks more like a capybara or something though I don't know what similar to a capybara would be up on top of a mountain.

Lexx was almost eaten from the inside out due to Mantrid's robot hand drones, but luckily, they reversed polarity on the dragonfly engine (or whatever) and shocked everything. They didn't try to save Lyekka, so I guess she's 100% plant with no electronic functions whatsoever. At least we got the scene of Kai swinging his Scorpion spear thing like a lasso to kill drones overhead. Definitely didn't expect that.

But yeah, Lyekka is a nice presence...sort of. You'd think they'd factor her in a little more since she hangs ten feet above the bridge, but I guess she's hibernating or something. She could've been the Zhaan (Farscape chick) of the crew if given a chance. =(

She eventually gets written off but yeah I really enjoyed her role as occasional deus ex machina. I would have liked her used more in theory but in practice it would have taken away from her specialness I think.

I daresay it's one of the best episodes of the series. Certainly of the second season. The first and third seasons were pretty different beasts altogether so it can be hard to quantify. Season four was a train wreck.

I still go back and watch the musical episode sometimes.
