As someone who had braces twice because I didn't wear my retainer the 1st time and my teeth went right back to being janky, wearing my retainer at night is a very small inconvenience after all the pain and money to get them straight.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking but you will want to enable HDR on both the XBox and the C2. I also found this which may help

I don't know what comes with the XBox but you'll need HDMI 2.1 cables

I upgraded from a 10+ year old HD Samsung to a LG C2 about 6 months ago. Haven't regretted it once. I didn't believe there would be that much of a picture difference but there really is, it's amazing.

I understand you have a budget but if you really want to get the most out of the new systems you have to go OLED. It's worth the price imo
