Basically, there would be this thing every year called Senior Week, where the seniors could have an off-campus lunch, wear casual clothes instead of the uniform, and so on. In order to participate, we (the senior class) would each have to individually pay $150. Many of us were not interested in this and/or could not afford it. My mom and I were basically living on the foodstamp equivalent of paycheck-to-paycheck at the time, so we couldn't afford it. But what does our principal do? He tells us "Even if you're not going to participate, you still need to pay so that those who do want it can participate. If you don't, you WILL NOT get your diploma even if you have the credits needed to graduate."

And he went through with it. After graduation, many of us got a Certificate of Attendance instead of our diplomas, even though we had the required credits. My mom managed to get the email of one of the School Board members and we both sent an email explaining everything. A day later, he sent a reply saying he and his colleagues were all getting the same complaints from many other students. he told us he was personally looking into it, and that we'd all be getting our diplomas shortly. Two days later, I got mine in the mail.

And, obviously, Mr. Principal got his ass fired for what was essentially extortion.

I used to get spanked. Then one day, my 10th birthday, my mom decided to give me a "birthday spanking", which, honestly, isn't what you think it is. It was merely her hugging me and gently patting my bottom, counting to 10 to signify my age. It was meant to be an innocent, playful thing, but I screamed at the top of my lungs and cried "Why are you spanking me? I didn't do anything!". She stopped and gave me a blank look with a hint of horror, then quietly told me to go get my school clothes on. She didn't say a word to me for the rest of the day after school ended.

She and my dad never spanked me again after that.

IMO, physically punishing your kid with spankings or beatings of any kind can give them the idea that a loved one hitting another loved one is acceptable and the right thing to do, thus leading to an abusive relationship where the one being abused thinks it's normal and they're the one at fault, not the abuser, or turn them into an abuser themselves. I don't see a difference between a parent doing it to punish a child and an abusive spouse doing it to their spouse; either way, someone is getting punished for talking back or disobeying, then being told later on by the abuser that they're sorry and they love them.

If he doesn't yell "Banana Slamma'!" at least once, I riot.

Last year would've been my class's first HSR, but I don't recall getting any kind of invite, not do I recall any of my high school friends on Facebook mentioning anything about it.

A bit of a shame, really. I would've loved it if our principal from that time decided to be arrogant enough to show up. Many of us would love the chance to give him the business for the shit he tried to pull in our senior year.

This bothers me. According to Multiverse of Madness, the main universe in the films take place on Earth-616.

It was basically "The Clone Wars", but for Tron: You're rooting for the good guys, but you know they're gonna lose in the end. Sadly, we never got to see that end, because it was canceled after the first season. It even had a good cast, with Elijah Wood as the main character Beck, obviously Bruce Boxleitner as Tron, and they also had notables like Mandy Moore, Lance Henriksen, Lance Reddick, Aaron Paul, Olivia Wilde, and Paul Reubens.

I read the book once. Don't remember enough of it to compare it to the films.

That being said, while I despise Tom Cruise, I do prefer the remake over the original, most especially the ending. The ending of the original film was too religious for me.

First and foremost, sync ALL the fast-travel points. You get a special perk that negates fall damage for you.

Many things that you do early on can and will have an effect on the game later on, especially endings.
There are multiple endings, and if you want the best ending possible...

Whenever you interact with Deimos/Alexios, do not be antagonistic; instead, choose the options that try to reason with them, to talk sense into them, to tell them who the real enemy is, and that you care for them.

Also, be a forgiving misthios; spare the one known as the Wolf of Sparta that a slimy serpent of a man sends you to kill. This also spares another character later in the game.

Do not kill the villain known as the Monger publicly; instead, kill him in a secluded location like the other character suggests. IIRC, doing it privately allows you to talk another Cult member into leaving the Cult of Kosmos. This also allows you to get all the evidence you need to prove that one of the 2 Kings of Sparta is a Cult member and you don't get thrown out of Sparta for making an accusation without enough evidence.
