Seems more positive to me; highlights are doing justice to the Mario franchise in how it feels and looks, being charming and easy to watch. Biggest negative seems to be that it's short and fairly surface level. There's a lot of people praising the jokes and others saying they are formulaic and the most telling was "it's a Mario movie made by Illumination and I'll leave it at that"

Didn't see any complaints on the voices tho

So I expect a light and charming by the numbers family comedy without much meat on the bones. But one that's pretty good to decent depending on your tolerance for such. Shocked Pikachu face.

Some people do post the black reaction memes in a way that's kind of sus but I feel like ce at least has a wide variety of memes from white people to black people to spongebob that trying to say it's bad outright is a mistake.

Could have used more zombies and violent survivors; like if they had a lot of travel scenes like Lord of the Rings except less wildernessy and more post apocalypticy. More scenes where they just sneak past some zombies that they don't make a big deal of cuz it's Tuesday for the apocalypse.

But otherwise it was pretty damn good and Ellie killed it. Suck it haters.

There's a disclaimer basically for every game ever sold saying that the game is being lent over to you. And that they have the rights to take the game away from you anytime they feel the need.

Basically the gaming industry is one big rental store. However rent is a one time fee, out side of subscription games. And they can take that item away from you anytime.

There are a lot of things like that in fine print you would still have to take to court. They sure as fuck arent going to come around to our houses and take every ps2 copy of vice city from us even if they claim that right because they would get fucked in court. I argue that there's grounds here for saying no actually you can't do that and that putting your music in this game means it's the buyers for personal use now.

That shit should be illegal. Seriously. I can understand not having songs they don't have the license to in later rereleases and maybe even disabling then in online play but removing it sounds sus as fuck to me.

Didn't we basically buy the the right to play those songs as part of the game when we bought it? They're taking back possession of something we purchased. People would be up in arms if they took away our mp3 downloads for "rights issues". What if they decide certain arts assets or levels need to be removed? How much of what we already bought are they allowed to remove? It's not likely of course but imagine if they just deleted the whole game from your hard drive. Apparently that's "legal"?!

I seriously think we could consider a class action lawsuit here.

There was a website called impromanga where people signed up to manga projects and each drew a few pages and passed it on to the next person..this was back in prehistory like 2000 I think? Some of the stories were a lot of fun. Website is long gone.

It could be because you have the money to buy multiple units and you're aware not everyone has the money to buy one, so you decided to provide a service by renting them at prices that allow people to get a home and you to make a living. A good landlord would also then consider it their duty to maintain the residence and it's utilities so their occupants can live in comfort.

If you're saying the way the industry is actually run is parasitic or predatory, yes. But it doesn't have to be.
