There's two ways to deal with a homeless person outside your business.

1) One way, involves making sure there's more and more homeless around, then either one of two things happens: They all seemingly leave (most homeless don't like other homeless), or there's sometimes a massive fight between them, among other things and the cops are forced to get involved. 2) The second way is to make it unattractive as possible -- if there's one outside make sure the music is loud enough to not let them sleep during the day, and then have renovations done during the night, again just inconvenient enough for them to not be able to sleep, make sure there's never any silence. They tend to move on, then... (More expensive, but ideal during your active season, as it's low effect on customers)

Or: vote for leaders that actually do something to address the issue.

But after years of bad policy ruining San Francisco I wouldn't be shocked if every business owner and homeowner saw this response and is now thinking about moving to a better run city and state.

As a reminder, this guy called the authorities about the homless person many times and seemed to have exhausted every option. With human feces, drug needles, etc. and no response from authorities eventually people lose it.

Maybe they'll elect different leadership one day. But probably not, and that city will continue to sprial, especially as tech companies continue to flee to Texas, Florida, etc.

It depends on a few factors. Was a gun pulled out? Is the gun being pointed at person B? If so, then oh yeah that's 100 percent illegal. Can't threaten to shoot someone over a petty argument.

Other case: Does person B even know person A has a gun? If gun is concealed and the threat is made that is a different animal. If no gun is actually pulled out and a threat is made that is a bit different, but still probably illegal.

Also, you'd have to have evidence to be successful with a lawsuit or criminal complaint. All this assumes there are other witnesses or video/audio evidence.

He may be undergoing some cancer treatment... who knows what's up with him.

As evil as Putin is, something tells me his successor would simply be worse. I don't know if I'd be so excited for Putin to die off if the next guy is more atrocious than he is.

Basically, all the data I've seen shows that the elderly are most at risk and contribute to the overwhelming majority of vaccinated deaths, which makes sense. Unvaccinated people who die tend to be younger - often middle aged and with other comorbitities (obese, etc).

Fortunately omicron is much less deadly than Delta but the vaccines haven't been as effective targeting those new variants.

I would love to see reliable data on natural immunity but no one makes money funding that kind of research...

That source is from July 2021. This was true in summer 2021 when a lower percentage of people were vaccinated and Delta was moving through the population.

Basically, you still roll the dice if you go unvaccinated but using almost 2 year old data is simply not the best way to argue your point.

Yes, I have a toddler that started speaking a bit later and we did speech therapy for a time to help it along. Apparently the speech therapists in the area are/were swamped. They cited Covid and isolation, etc. as the reason and I believe it.

Now, my kid won't stay quiet...

If a kid isn't talking by 3 there may be an actual disability to address. Some kids are late talkers but much past 3 is a concern.

Why? I think vaccines are great. New variants evading vaccine immunity, and the length of vaccine immunity, are a real ongoing concern and challenge facing the medical community.

Extreme side effects are rare, but do occur. It's not unreasonable to ask if there are risk factors in any medical decision.

I love my Xbox X and love gamepass but the library really is lacking atm.

Playstation looks great, I may pick up a PS5 if I see one sitting in a store somewhere.

I got the first 2 shots and ended up with Covid less than 6 months later. Fortunately it was a mild case. Haven't had any shots since and haven't gotten Covid since.

My brother in law (he is in his early 20s) ended up with myocarditis a month or so after taking the first vaccine. Turns out that may be a real side effect...

I think vaccines are good, especially for high risk patients (my grandmother caught covid last year and probably only lived because she was fully boosted) but it is fair to ask how effective the vaccines are with constant new variants and if there are any side effects, particularly in younger males. Because of that I am not sure I will be getting any of the boosters at this time.

Yes, I spent a few of my teenage years in a mobile home and a lot of my neighbors were on welfare. And growing up in a low income rural area you better believe lots of people were on various forms of welfare.

A large number of people I knew were abusing it and not trying to find real work.

Abolish welfare for able bodies individuals that choose not to work.

Biden has set him up with the easiest GOP attack ads ever. First big one was the 'you'll never see helicopters taking people off rooftops' comment before the Afghanistan debacle, and now we have these classified documents after Biden said Trump was irresponsible for having them in his home.

Now, I think there should be accountability across the board on stuff like this, but even if circumstances are different between Biden and Trump the document fiasco is going to be a good attack ad in 2024.
