It's been almost five years since Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi and while, at the time, it was confirmed that the filmmaker would create a new trilogy to introduce new characters "from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored". But since then, Johnson has gone on to do other projects, such as Knives Out and the upcoming Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. A third Knives Out film is also in the works, but Johnson hasn't given up hope that he'll return to Star Wars someday. Speaking with Variety at the premiere of Glass Onion, Johnson called making Star Wars: The Last Jedi the high point of his life.

"Making Star Wars was the high point of my life and so I still, I pray to God I'll be back there someday," Johnson said.

As for that trilogy, Johnson said last month that he'd spoken with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and they are still talking about things, but that his focus at the moment is the Knives Out series.

"I have talked to [Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy] about it and we're still talking about it," Johnson said of his announced Star Wars spinoff. "I had such an amazing experience making The Last Jedi. It's entirely a matter of scheduling. For me, putting this [Glass Onion] out and making the next one of these [Knives Out sequels] the answer is I don't know."...

Most of the information about these aliens comes from abductee reports and there are numerous. Some say the Mantids are benevolent and others say quite the opposite, it is difficult to ascertain but one thing is certain, the Mantids are fearful beings, what their agenda is, is anyones guess. Much like other Alien groups, there seems to be a common thread in interfering with, studying, harvesting and manipulating human DNA.

With a lot of conflicting reports its hard to know if these Aliens are the good or bad guys.

Mantis aliens are perhaps the most mysterious and unsettling of all extra-terrestrial creatures. These beings appear within many abduction scenarios, with abductees reporting the ominous presence of these entities looming over their beds as they wake in the dead of night. While the Mantis is not as widely reported as the Grey or Nordic alien, it still holds an important role within many extra-terrestrial contact scenarios.

Insect beings appear within mythologies throughout the world, including Native American and African folklore. The Khoisan tribe of Africa specifically regard the mantis as the first living creature upon the Earth, who granted life to animals and humans, inventing language and bringing fire to the people. It is even said that the mantis created the moon as a guide for hunters by throwing a gallbladder into the sky. Some believe these extra-terrestrials come from the Draco system, working hand in hand with the Reptilians.

Many report these beings as 6-7 feet tall, with long, thin torsos. Their necks, arms and hands have additional joints. Their heads are insect-like and triangular, with large, slanted eyes of deep brown to black.

Most Mantids are described as dark brown, but other colours such as green and black have also been encountered. Their bodies are composed of a segmented exoskeleton, and some abductees have reported that the Mantis seem to be coated in an oily substance. Mantis are often encountered wearing long robes in a variety of colours, perhaps signifying rank, while some are unclothed.

Although the Mantis tend to communicate with abductees using telepathic messages, they have been witnessed engaging one another using an auditory language. Several contactees have described the Mantis language as a series of clicking sounds exchanged between the creatures.

Some experiencers state that the Mantids are also shape shifters and use advanced technologies to create a field around their bodies to make them appear human.

The Mantis tend to be overseers, and often appear to be in leadership positions of power during an abduction. Generally, a Mantis will be accompanied by several small Grey aliens who seem to do its bidding. These small Greys are assumed to be drone beings, controlled by a hive mind and utilized by a variety of alien races...
