I guess these two games weren't exactly 'terrible', but the were considered to be not very good. I loved playing both of those games though, and to thoroughly explore every level and play around with the game mechanics.

David Lynch would probably be Chaotic Neutral, because he likes to go for the being-weird-for-the-sake-of-being-weird style, even (or especially) when there's completely no point to it.

It was Warner Bros that wanted to make a Matrix part 4. They were gonna do it with or without the Wachowskis.

The movie literally spells this out. Personally I'm glad one of them decided to do it, even if the meta stuff was much better than the actual story.

Characters that are dependent on critical hits (a.k.a. rogue class) are inferior to tanks/fixed DPS. Better to have the certainty of knowing how much damage youre going to cause rather than just hoping for the best.

Mass Effect 3: The extended ending was fine and satisfying enough. I feel like people who complain about lack of seeing the result of your choices throughout the trilogy have been skipping/sleeping through the story during the game itself.
Also, Paragon Control is utilitaristically the best possible ending, both at that moment and long-term.
Also also, the indoctrination fan theory is silly and even more ridiculous than the original ending.

Silent Hill: The Room is the best of the series.

Metal Gear Solid 4: The first two acts were easily the best part of the game and pretty much the sole reason why I replayed it at all. Although I was initially turned off by the active warzone atmosphere, I eventually grew to love how expansive the possibilities were of being able to move your way through and influence the battle, or just ignore all that and sneak your way past the battlefield entirely.
The final bossfight however was barely mediocre at best and mostly just memberberries. It wasnt even half as exciting as any of the final boss fights of MGS 1, 2 or 3.

Funny story about the Eagles. They were called to do a local festival here a few years ago, they thought they were playing in another city with the same name, but much bigger population. Instead of laughing it off as their mistake, when they landed they refused to take pictures with people who won contest tickets to the festival, stayed in their trailer, and performed a single song before getting on the plane and heading out of our province. The 2000s were seriously full of weird dudes in porn that were actively distracting. And not just in a that guy looks funny or makes a weird sound way, but in "why is that motherfucker wearing a wig and hitting yoga poses during this scene" kind of way.

I remember this porn video where a guy and a girl were playing out a Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf scenario, and the guy was wearing this huge wolf's head, like mascot head-sized. So then they bang for a while, and halfway the guy suddenly stops.
Guy: "Guess what baby, I'm not even really a wolf!"
Girl: "What??"
Guy: (pulls of mask to reveal another one) "Yeah, I'm SKELETOR, HA HA HA!"

Provided I'd be in decent health and shape for most of my life, I wouldn't mind living long enough to become like 180 years old. I definitely wouldn't want to live forever, but I would find it fascinating to see how the world and human societies develop, compared to the century that came before.

While there are probably people who didn't watch it because of the all female cast and feministic title, I think this movie just kind of got lost in the large amount of 'capeshit' movies that get released all the time, especially since it's about a 'non-main character' compared to other heroes/villains in the DCEU.
Personally I thought it was ok, it had some cool and funny moments, but not to the extent that I'd like to watch it again.

After seeing Zack Snyder's Justice League, I'm actually hungry for a sequel especially with all the Injustice forshadowing. Wouldn't even have to be a cinema release, I'd be fine with a (live action) streaming movie.
With Cavill and Affleck walking away from DCEU and Miller's controversial behaviour however, it's unlikely to happen.

When it comes to casting of live-action movies based on fairy tales, I'm pretty much convinced that most people except the (extremely) vocal minority on social media actually don't actually care about what the actor being cast for the main part looks like.

The plot got leaked, so studio management decided to fire the whole writing team and write a new ending to this season themselves, and hope that viewers will just forget about the hornets that were mentioned once or twice back then. Anyway, climate change skepticism, in this day and age, is very rarely in good faith. A whole lot of motivated reasoning coming from people who have been convinced by republican politicians that green policy will hurt their bottom line.

That, and also people who react like they're being directly attacked when someone suggests that maybe it's a good idea to consider living a little more environment-consciously, as if they feel they are being blamed for everything and need to change everything in their entire lifestyle right now.

Corporations produce to meet demands of consumers (and make a profit while doing it).
As long as consumers keep buying a lot of stuff that is bad for the environment (that they often don't even need), there is little motivation for a corporation to change to more environment-friendly methods.

This, too many people really don't care enough until they actually see it for themselves, by which time it is already far too late.
Right now we're already guaranteed that it's gonna get bad. It's up to us (humanity in general, meaning governments, companies and citizens/consumers like us, without pointing fingers saying "dem first") whether we let it get to that, or let it get worse to the point of making the planet uninhabitable for humanity.

I remember one of the first times I played Subnautica, when I first reached a point where the water was so deep that I couldn't see the bottom (or anything for that matter). The PDA told me that lifeform readings in this region are sparse, and this deep sense of dread just overwhelmed me to the point where I had stop playing right then and there.

I continued the next day with no regrets. It's still one of my favorite games to this day.
