You have to realize that Skynet/Sarah Connor/John Connor/and the (nice) T-800 defender are basically stuck in a time loop.

Skynet sent terminators to so many different times, in so many different attempts to kill John - that it was just plain bound to happen.

Skynet has attempted to kill Sarah (as Genesys says) in the 70's...the 80's...the 90's...and then has tried to kill John in the 90's...the 00's...the 2020's...

and then has attempted to kill Catherine Bruster (T3)...to kill the girl from (Dark Fate)...has attempted to kill John Connor AS they prepare to send Kyle Reese back (Genesys).

Like, it is just a time loop. It was always kinda bound to happen.

If you're gonna attempt to kill someone in every decade, dozens and dozens of times -- it is probably gonna happen at one point.

I cannot think of 1 burger or item on their menu that I would rather not go get at McDonalds, Wendy's, Jack in the Box, or elsewhere.
