He was charismatic, made people believe in what bullshit he was trying to peddle. He's obviously insane, as is his motivations. A lot of people think villains need to make sense, but...honestly? They don't. A good villain can make sense and give the protagonist a reason to doubt themselves. A great villain will make others follow him, make viewers question the heroes, even though his motivations and his reasons for doing so are absolutely inane and nonsense.

He's a cult of personality in of himself. He does all these evil things, he's an evil man, but he's so forthright in his conviction that you can't help but wonder if he's right. You see things though his eyes, he's right in his own mind. He's got personality and charm, and it pushes his motivations to a level where you can actually see why people follow him.

Shit, Joker is another example. Joker's motivations make no sense whatsoever. In TDK, he is literally just...causing Chaos. His end goal is to die at Batman's hands. He will not see the fruits of his labor. But people love him because he has that charisma that pulls you in. Sure, his plan doesn't make sense. But it doesn't have to. He doesn't have to.

It's a compelling watch. And Thanos, imho, is a well written villain. For that reason and more.

I never really thought of how to explain why Thanos worked so well but this has alot of it. Things like him getting the soul stone shows character. I actually enjoyed his journey to get the gems much more then the avengers in endgame.

Ive never denied that Pitbulls can be a dangerous breed due to their size, strength, muscle and bite strength. However, these are all things mine doesnt have because of her dwarfism.

All dogs are capable of biting. Are you trying to say that because she nipped a couple times when she was teething which is normal behavior for all dogs that shes some vicious monster capable of mauling me to death?

Why is dwarfism constantly brought up here on attacks committed by pitbulls without dwarfism.

I was driving to work really early one morning when it was still dark out and I saw a car parked in an obscure spot. I make this drive every morning and there is almost no cars on the road at this time so I was actually a little worried about my safety at that point due to how unusual it was for the vehicle to be illegally parked where it was. The car starts following me and now I'm really freaking out.
