Bullitt
American Graffiti
The Italian Job
Gone in 60 seconds
Vanishing Point
The Getaway
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry

All good movies for car guys. The chase scene in Bullitt is still arguably one of the best action scenes in Hollywood history in my opinion.

I quit my job two weeks ago and I'm about to move two states away, so I'm sitting here drunk after 13 days straight of being unproductive and playing games being a degenerate knowing I will most likely get hired the first place I apply to. Gonna go fishing when the sun comes up.

I've been offered a job literally every single place I've gotten an interview in my life. Maybe I interview well, maybe I only apply for jobs I'm overqualified for and don't demand enough money. idk...but I'm not stressed.

Its stupid because government regulations have essentially made it less desirable for manufacturers to focus on fuel efficient hybrids, which would make way more sense for those who need more range without worrying about charging stations. My first car was a 1987 Honda that got 40mpg, its amazing how few cars 35 years later do better than that. (Obviously safety equipment has made cars heavier)

TopicWhy's everyone driving an SUV, Truck, or Crossover nowadays
dodgefan91

Legal mandates for gas mileage. Auto manufacturers have to hit average X mpg goals for their trucks. The easiest way of doing that is to build SUV and crossover vehicles that count as "trucks" as they're defined by the laws, thus raising the average for their truck fleet.

Have you ever worked in a restaurant? Because when I was in highschool, I know the waiters/waitresses where I worked damn sure made twice as much as the cooks/dishwashers in the back. And then didn't claim all of it come tax time. I have a hard time feeling empathy for people living off of tips. Unless you're just bad at your job or in a real shitty neighborhood, I don't buy a single person working in a tipping industry acting like they're underpaid compared to so many similar skilled jobs.

Just fingers and toes, never anything major. Usually something stupid like just stubbing my pinkie toe on a table leg in the middle of the night. I've broken my pinkie toe on my right foot twice that way.

Another toe on my left foot was broken while wrestling with my brother when we were little. Broke my left thumb doing somersaults or something like that when I was in fifth grade. And I'm pretty sure I broke my ring finger at work a couple years ago when it got stuck between a pulley and a metal bar but never got an x-ray to check.

It's not great, but it was better than I expected...not that it's a high bar to beat. Leia was fine and even the younger kelso and neighbor girl started to grow on me by the end of the season. I do find it odd how it's that 90's show but most of the clothes and sets still look like they're straight out of the 70's. Obviously the kid actors are bad and we're all mostly there for nostalgia vibes, but it's not even a 90's show other than a few refrences here and there.

2/10 show without nostalgia goggles
4/10 even with rose tinted glasses

Pro second amendment
religious morals
believing they lower taxes and spend less money
more likely to secure boarders and enhance national security
etc.

Im not saying theyre right on all on all of those beliefs, but there are plenty of reasons why someone can justify voting republican without be evil, homophobic, or racist. It just depends on where a voters priorities are. I know a lot of people who are single issue voters and will only vote GOP because they dont want more strict gun control laws even if theyre pro choice, pro gay marriage etc.
