I think mine was Hitmonlee in Pokemon Yellow. I got it from Pokemon Stadium and it carried me through pretty much the whole game.

If it wasn't that, it was Pidgeot in Yellow. I raised the shit out of both of them but I can't remember if Pidgeot also hit 100.

I don't use the block feature, I just use the ignore feature. I don't really care if they see me just as long as I don't have to see them. And there's only a few active users I actually have ignored.

I live in southern Alberta. I took those photos around 11pm.

They look just like grey clouds with the naked eye, but my phone camera sees their true colours much better.

I'm replaying Gold right now and I agree. Gen 2 is still sentimentally my favourite Pokemon gen, but it's like they never had anyone test the game out. Trainers basically have the same level Pokemon in gym 4 as they do leading up to gym 7.

Even after completing all 16 gyms, your Pokemon likely aren't going to be much higher than level 50 or so. In Gen 1, that's what they'd be going into the Elite Four.

No, it was Star Wars Battlefront 2. And given the very limited amount of content actually in that game, EA should be straight up embarrassed at how much storage it takes up.

Yeah that's true. I hope the next Nintendo console has more than 16GB or whatever the default storage is. I just had to archive a bunch of stuff the other day to make room for TotK, and the whole time I was thinking "Gigabytes are cheap, why the hell do I have to do this???"

Nintendo seems to have much better control of this (at least if you buy physical). I have at least one PS4 game that takes up over 100GB even though I have the physical copy.

You're right though. I don't really get why I needed to buy a $20 SD card for the Switch to have a decent amount of storage. It should've been just included.

I know what you mean, but there isn't really an ethical solution to this.

Intelligent people collectively aren't going to start having large families because it economically and socially goes against most of their own best interests. Individual intelligent couples having lots of kids to counter the surge in the number of stupid people having kids won't be enough to effectively counter it.

A better solution is to demand high quality and well funded public education. A child of a stupid person won't necessarily be stupid themselves.

Barring that, we're certainly going to see a massive decline in the quality and influence of western countries. That sounds like the future's problem, not mine.

There was a fan theory that Ditto was a failed clone of Mew. It was found in the Cinnabar Mansion, which is where Mewtwo was created.

Mew can learn every move, including Transform, which Ditto also knows as its only move.

I'm not sure why anyone would even be using Windows 7 or 8 anymore. Windows 7 came out like 15 years ago and Windows 8 was almost immediately replaced for free by Windows 10.

Yeah, the Tour ones are noticeably the worst in each bundle. Otherwise it's fine, it's just more courses in what's already a great game. I hardly play Mario Kart but the DLC gets me to come back to it every other month.

Prices aren't going down by sheer manufacturer malicious intent at this point. "Material/battery costs!" has been a bs excuse for a long time. Battery costs have dropped sharply.
So long as they can make huge windfalls selling "luxury" models to those willing to buy them, they don't seem to particularly be interested in switching to low margin, high volume sales of EVs.

Yup, this doesn't surprise me at all. Kind of like how the increase in gasoline prices last year was a complete fabrication by oil companies, and the increase in grocery prices was almost entirely driven by corporate greed.

That's never going to happen.

The US has legislated that 50% of new vehicles sold in 2030 must be EVs. Canada has legislated that 100% of new vehicles sold in 2035 must be EVs.

The only way this won't happen is if a regressive conservative government gets elected in either country, but even then, auto manufacturers are already preparing for this and likely will mostly follow through even if the legislative requirements are lifted.

The technology needs to get cheaper, and soon. Buying a vehicle in 10 years when EVs are required for new vehicles in North America is going to be very tough for the average person. The increased demand this will put on "cheaper" gas vehicles will likely increase the value of used gas cars, too, unfortunately.

It's not the sites themselves, it's the way they affect peoples brains. They get trapped in a perpetual feedback loop of their worst qualities. The algorithms are designed that way. If you give it the hint that you consume negative content, the algorithms will feed it to you constantly. It doesn't care what kind of effect it has on you as long as you keep your eyes glued to the screen.

Weve had a tremendous amount of guns in this country since its inception. The AR-15 alone has been available to the public for over 50 years, and gun laws have only gotten stricter. This stuff has really only become a problem over the last few decades.
